Senator Sal DiDomenico honored Dr. Anna Seiders, an Everett High Schools teacher who recently was named STEM teacher of the year in Massachusetts, with a citation at the State House. Anna helps provide students with opportunities to support their learning through internships and job opportunities. She leads the STEM Club at her school, competing in Ten80 Education’s Racing and Autonomous Vehicle Challenges, earning multiple awards, top-five finishes, and even the national title. Additionally, she works with Mass Learning Project as a Community Lead for Project Lead the Way, leading professional development and connecting teachers to valuable resources.
“We are lucky to have this intelligent, passionate, and caring educator in our district inspiring our kids,” said DiDomenico. “Our teachers don’t make the news, but make all the difference in our children’s lives so it was a privilege to celebrate one of our most talented educators and thank her for the thankless work she does every day.”
