Richard Bonar Nicholson, 90, of Everett entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 22 in the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. He had been in failing health. Born in Hunter Village, Prince Edward Island, Canada, Richard lived in Everett for most of his life and served proudly in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He retired from John McCourt Construction Company as a Construction Foreman. The son of the late John and Hazel (MacDonald) Nicholson, he was the beloved husband of the late Antonietta (Sorrentino); dear and devoted father of Virginia Nicholson, Hazel Leo and her husband, Giovanni and Judy DeNardo and her husband, Antonio, all of Everett; devoted twin brother of the late Berna O, and brother of Ethel LeBlanc and Helen Wykes. He is also survived by seven loving grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends attended Richard’s visiting hours in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) Everett on Tuesday, March 26 and his funeral will be from the funeral home today, Wednesday ,at 11:30 a.m followed by a Funeral Mass in the Immaculate Conception Church, 487 Broadway, Everett at 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Parking with attendants on duty.
