Puppet Show Planned at Parlin Library on August 6

On August 6 at 2 P.M., life-size puppets will be at the Parlin Library to meet kids three to eight years of age and their families.  The puppet show will focus on making kids (and parents) laugh, as well as think. Puppet stories illustrate child relevant values like imaginary play, working together, trying new things and making mistakes, honesty, and general kindness. They also touch on themes regarding literacy, folk and fairy tales, the environment, and healthy eating.

Every sketch is alive with audience participation. Lindsay invites kids to sing along, dance, contribute ideas, and call in response, supply props, and more.

Join us at the Parlin Library, 410 Broadway on August 6 at 2 P.M. to meet Lindsay and her Puppet Pals.  For more information, please call 617-394-2306.  This program is free, thanks to a generous grant from the Everett Cultural Council, the local office of the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
