Peter Duperier scored 15 points by taking home first place in three events for the Everett High boys track team in their meet with Malden last week.
Peter captured the 400 meter race in 54.3 seconds; the 200 meter dash in 24.2; and the long jump with a leap of 17-0 to record one of the most productive days for an EHS boys track performer in quite a while.
Also enjoying a fine meet was Dexter Dowe, who won both the discus with a toss of 117-0 and the shot put with a heave of 46-2.
Other winning efforts for Everett on the day were turned in by the relay teams. The 4 x 100 quartet of Brian Panarese, Henry Maldonado, Domenic Mucci, and Andres Tejada outsprinted their Malden counterparts with a time of 48.1.
The 4 x 400 combination of Pierry Etienne, Henry Maldonado, Jonathan Mendez, and David Lima outran their Malden foes in a time of 4:02.2.
Contributing three points to the Everett side of the scoresheet with second place performances were: Chavannes Valbrune in the high jump with a leap of 5-4; Panarese in the 100 meter dash in 12.2; and Tejada in the 200 dash in 24.7.
Third place efforts that added single points to the Everett score sheet were recorded by: Etienne in the 400 in 59.3; Lima in the 800 in 2:09; Tejada with a long jump of 16-5; Mucci with a triple jump of 33-0; and Daniel Plunkett with a javelin toss of 113-1.
The Everett boys were set to compete in the Somerville Invitational yesterday morning (Tuesday) at Somerville. The GBL freshman/sophomore meet is scheduled for tomorrow at Cambridge.
