Four first place efforts highlighted the Everett High girls indoor track team’s meet against Lynn Classical last week.
Tracey Nicholson captured the 600 in 1:57.5; Delmis Urquiza, who has been recovering from a cross country leg injury, took the 1000 in 3:29.4; Jessica Mangan won the mile in 6:56; and Maeve Kernan beat the field in the two mile in 13:55.6.
Second place finishers for Everett were: Darryl Colson in the 50 yard dash in 7.1 seconds; Katie Steeves in the 300 in 45.5; Erika Fuentes in the 600 in 2:08.3; and Cristian Faia in the high jump with a leap of 4-4.
Third place efforts for the Lady Crimson Tide were forwarded by Guerdie Valmont in the 300 in 48.4; Angele Louis Jean in the 1000 in 3:37.9; Melissa Michel in the two mile in 16:41.8; and Colson with a shotput toss of 24-6.5.
That was the girls’ last dual meet of the season. The Lady Crimson Tide will gear up for the GBL meets this week, with the JV meet tomorrow (Thursday) at Somerville and the varsity meet Saturday at the Reggie Lewis Center.
