Domenico Reads Governor’s Proclamation for Italian Heritage Month

Senator Sal N. DiDomenico read Governor Healey’s proclamation, announcing October as Italian Heritage Month, in the State House chamber. Italian Americans from the Senator’s district and across the Commonwealth came together to celebrate with friends, family, elected officials and Consul General of Italy, Arnaldo Minuti.

“It was an honor to speak on the House floor about my family, our connection to Italian culture, and how our ancestors paved the way for us today,” said DiDomenico. “This wonderful celebration brings us together, helps us reconnect with old friends, and reminds us of our shared culture.”
