Salvatore S. Cravotta
October 19, 1931 – September 25, 2022
Salvatore S. Cravotta passed away at the Don Orione Nursing Home on September 25 at the age of 90.
Sal was an avid Boston sports fan. As a young man, he was a jockey riding out of many different race tracks around the country. He was a Korean War Veteran serving in the US Air Force. He also traveled often to Las Vegas and enjoyed the Encore Casino.
The beloved husband of the late Josephine “Honey” (Pensavalli) Cravotta, he was the loving father of Camille Pensavalli of Everett and David and his wife, Margaret Cravotta of Peabody; adored grandfather “Pa” to David, Ashley and Anthony Cravotta; brother of Ralph Cravotta and the late Mary Livolsi, Phylis Bartollo, Phil Cravotta and Eleana Lally. Salvatore is also survived by many nieces, nephews and good friends.
Sal was married to his late wife “Honey” for 60 years and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren most of all. He will be greatly missed.
His Funeral will be held from Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main Street, Everett on Friday, September 30 at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Anthony Church in Everett at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, September 29 from 4 to 8 p.m. Complimentary valet parking Thursday at the Main Street entrance.
