Lifelong Everett resident
Gerard H. Giove of Everett entered into eternal rest unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 12 in the CHA-Everett. He was 66 years old.
Born in Boston, Gerard lived in Everett for all of his life. He owned a restaurant for many years. Fishing was Gerard’s passion. Any chance he had would be spent on the water trying to catch “the big one.”
He was the beloved son of the late Mary (D’Amore) and Stephen V. Giove, dear and devoted brother of Rosemarie Whalen and her husband, James of Punta Gorda, FL and Stephen N. Giove and his wife, Diane of Everett and loving uncle of Lisa Whalen, Cassandra Schembri, James, Stephen and Michael Whalen and Stephen D. Giove. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, especially, Paul and Larry Giove, and all of his lifelong friends from Swan Street Park.
Services are private. Contributions in Gerard’s memory to the charity of one’s choice would be sincerely appreciated. Arrangements are by Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, Everett, 617 387.3120
