Jeanne Perry
Retired bookkeeper of Brockton, formerly of Everett
Jeanne M. (LeVasseur) Perry of Brockton, formerly of Everett, entered into rest on Friday, September 9, in the Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton. She was 87 years old.
Born in Boston, Jeanne lived in Everett for most of her life before settling in Brockton these last few years. She was a bookkeeper by profession, retiring from Fiduciary Trust Company after many years of employment.
She was the beloved wife of the late George M. Perry for over 66 years; dear and devoted mother of Kathleen M. Brown of Ludington, MI, Patricia M. Byrne and her late husband, John of Brockton, Jeanne M. St. Clair and her husband, Robert of Melrose, Gail M. Rago and her husband, Alphonse of Brockton and George M. Perry and his wife, Paula of Sterling; sister of Shirley Liberatori of Quincy, Elizabeth Silva of Brockton and the late William and Francis LeVasseur. Also surviving are seven loving grandchildren and five loving great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Jeanne’s funeral from the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) Everett today, Wednesday, September 14 at 10 a.m. followed by her Funeral Mass in the Immaculate Conception Church, 487 Broadway, Everett at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Jeanne’s memory to the Franciscan Children’s Hospital, 30 Warren St., Brighton, MA 02135.

Vita Grassi
Of Malden
Vita (Safina) Grassi of Malden entered into rest on August 31 in the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital. She was 85 years old.
Born in Tripoli, Libya, Vita lived in Malden for many years.
She was the beloved wife of Giacomo Grassi for over 57 years; dear and devoted “Mamma” of Rosemary Jones and her husband, Robert of Revere and Jacqueline Barsotti and her husband, Carlo of Malden; sister of Rosa Siega of Malden and the late Joseph and Frank Safina; loving “Nonna” of Jason Barsotti, Christopher Barsotti and Julia Jones. Funeral arrangements were by the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, Everett. Interment was at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Contributions in Vita’s memory to the American Heart Association, P. O. Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005 would be sincerely appreciated.
