Monday evening’s council meeting began with the swearing in of eleven new firefighters and auxiliary police. Chief David Butler, who is looking forward to retirement, passed on his position to new provisional Fire Chief Tony Carli. New firefighters include Jonathan Russo, Chris Grace, Derek Joyner, Michael O’Donnell, Adam Ragucci, Chad Bailey, Nicholas Chiarello, Peter Chiarello, Joseph DeVanna, Christopher Dockery, and Thomas Ross.
Chief David Butler of the Everett Fire Department was proud to have served the community for several years.
