On Monday, January 6th, the City of Everett will hold its 2014 Inauguration. The event will begin at 7:00PM at the Frederick Foresteire Center for the Performing Arts, located in Everett High School, and will be broadcast LIVE on EHS-TV Channel 15.
An historic occasion, marking the first year of City Government since Everett’ Charter reform, the event will include Mayor Carlo DeMaria delivering his inaugural address as he is sworn in for his fourth term as Mayor, now a four year term, as well as the swearing in of the newly formed eleven-member, single-branch City Council and the School Committee, for their respective two-year terms.
A reception will immediately follow at Everett High School. Residents, family, and friends are encouraged to attend the event.
The City Council will have its organizational meeting the following Monday, January 13th, back in Council Chambers at City Hall.
