Dr. Thomas Montenero

Longtime Everett Dentist

Dr. Thomas R. Montenero of North Reading, a former longtime Everett resident, passed away at home on December 15. He was 59 years old. A graduate of Malden Catholic High School, Dr. Montenero was a cum laude graduate of Boston College, and a graduate of Tufts Dental School who operated his own dental practice in Everett for more than 30 years. Born in Everett, he was the beloved husband of Daryl A. (McCarthy) Montenero; loving father of Tom Montenero, Jr and Diana Montenero; loving brother of Richard and Paul Montenero, Mary Rock and Robert and Mark Montenero. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, In laws and friends. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend his funeral from the JF Ward Funeral Home, 772 Broadway, Everett, on Thursday, December 19 at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Grace Church, 194 Nichols St., Everett-Chelsea line at 10:30 a.m. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home today, Wednesday, from 4 to 8 p.m. Interment will be in Puritan Lawn Cemetery, Peabody. Evelyn ‘Sue’ Morelli

Of Bridgewater, formerly of Everett

Evelyn F. “Sue” (Frautten) Morelli of Bridgewater, formerly of Everett, died on December 6. She was the beloved wife of the late Nicholas V. Morelli; loving mother of Nicholas Morelli of East Bridgewater, Michael J. Morelli and his wife, Lynda of Talbott, TN and Margaret “Margie” Connell and her husband, Bob of Bridgewater; loving sister of John Frautten and Rose Arbogast and the late Everett “Mike” Frautten and Dorothy “Babe” Clements. She is also survived by her two beloved grandchildren, Alyssa and Jason Connell and by many loving nieces and nephews. Rita Ridgway

Of Malden, formerly of the West End

Rita A. (Zodiaco) Ridgway of Malden, originally from the West End, died on December 11. She was the beloved wife of the late Harry Ridgway; loving mother of Robin Deutsch of Colorado Springs, CO, Steven Ridgway and Christopher Ridgway and his wife,, Aubrey Emory, all of Wakefield. She is also survived by her two beloved grandchildren, Whitney and Caitlyn Deutsch. Funeral arrangements were by the Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home, Everett. James Joseph Daly

Information Technology Administrator

James Joseph Daly, a lifelong resident of Everett, died unexpectedly on December 13 at the Whidden Memorial Hospital in Everett. He was 33 years old.

He worked as an administrator in Information Technology.

Born in Melrose, he was the beloved son of Patricia A. (Pesce) and Joseph M. Daly, Jr.; dear and devoted brother of Joseph A. Daly of Everett; loving nephew of Kathleen Daly of Saugus, John Daly and his wife, Ann of Franklin and great-nephew of Nina Pesce and Tony Mollica of Everett and John Mattuchio of Somerville. He was the dear cousin of Alyssa and Hannah Daly and the late Kelly A. Daly and is also survived by many more cousins, relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend James’ visiting hours in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) Everett onThursday, December 19 from 4 to 8 p.m. His funeral will be held from the funeral home on Friday at 10 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Anthony’s Church, 38 Oakes St., Everett, at 11 a.m. Interment will be private.
