For the last few weeks, there has been a series of articles introducing the various personnel and departments at City Hall. No doubt most residents may think that there is very little that they need to do at City Hall. And in many cases, this is probably correct.
However, the reality is that at one time or another, we all are affected by the goings-on at City Hall and depend on the services provided by city departments.
We thank Mayor Carlo DeMaria’s office for supplying the profiles of city employees so that our readers can get to know who works for them. Whether it be paying or questioning a parking ticket; getting a birth certificate for a passport; fixing your broken water meter; or any of the other myriad of services provided by the city, these officials and departments at City Hall are the ones who deal directly with those of us who pay the taxes.
Being able to put a face to a name is always good and we hope that our readers will continue to read these informative spotlights.
