Arthur Russell, a longtime Everett resident, died surrounded by his family at the Mass General Hospital on July 8. He was 85 years old.
Arthur was born on September 17, 1927 in Danielson, Ct, one of five children of the late Arthur and Mildred (Roby) Russell. He was raised in Connecticut but has been an Everett resident for more than 55 years. Arthur, who enlisted in the US Army and served our country proudly during World War II, worked as a printer for the American Printing Company.
The loving husband of Joanne (Hall) Russell, he was the cherished father of Daniel and his wife, Jennifer of Dracut, David and his wife, Lisa of Florida, Donald and his wife, Anne Marie of Fitchburg and Douglas and his wife, Anne of Middleboro; the brother of George and Bill, both of Maine, Janice Morales of Texas and Ann Ready of Ohio. He is also survived by several grandchildren and by two great grandchildren.
His burial service will be held today, Wednesday, at Puritan Lawn Cemetery at 1 p.m. with Reverend Thom Coots officiating. Arrangements are by the Murphy O’Hara Funeral Home, 519 Broadway. Everett.
Anna (Pezzi) LaMarra Annable of Revere died on July 2.
The beloved wife of Fred Annable, she was the devoted mother of Donna Scibilia of Revere, John DiPaolo of Peabody, Fred DiPaolo of Saugus, Nino DiPaolo of Revere, Katherine Johnson of Saugus, Santino DiPaolo of Saugus, Candice Rose LaMarra of Revere, Anthony LaMarra of Everett and the late Ricky DiPaolo; dear sister of Raymond Pezzi of Revere and the late Ethallo Pezzi and Elasandro Pezzi. She is also survived by 21 loving grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements were by the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home, Revere. A Funeral Mass was celebrated St Anthony’s Church and Interment was in Holy Cross Cemetery. For guest book please visit www.Buonfiglio.com
