Ignatius ‘Nat’ Sutera

Member of the Maddonna Della Soccorso Society

Ignatius “Nat” Sutera of Everett died on January 26.

A member of the Maddonna Della Soccorso Society, he was the beloved husband of the late Lillian (Catanzaro), the father of Vincent and his wife, Adrienne of Lynnfield, Stephen and his wife, Evelyn of Gloucester, Lillian Brassil and her husband, Robert of Florida and John and his wife, Nancy of Everett; brother of Margaret Marino of Everett, Phyllis Orlando  and Katherine Orlando, both of Gloucester, Rita Sabella of Everett, Jenny Ciuffo of Everett, Leo of Florida, Lucille Bonfiglio of Stoneham and the late Beatrice Ciulla, Philip, and Lucy. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchilden, and many nieces and nephews.

His Funeral will be held from the Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main St.,Everett today, Wednesday, January 30 at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Anthony Church, Everett at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited. Phyllis Miranda

Of Everett

Phyllis M. (Rocco) Miranda of Everett died on January 24.

The beloved wife of Enrico C. Miranda, she was the loving mother of Maryann Hayes and her late husband, Francis Hayes, Gerri Miranda, Charles Miranda and his wife, Donna, and Michael Miranda and his wife, Kathleen; beloved sister of Anthony Rocco, Anna Belluschi and James Rocco and the late Frank, Louis, Joseph Rocco and Lucy Faria. She is also survived by her loving granchildren, Francis Joseph Hayes and his wife, Gina, Scott Corbett, Charles and Jennifer Miranda and Leigha Bonfiglio and her great-grandchildren: Matthew and Ashley Hayes and Jared Corbett.

Jeanne Frances Foresteire

Jeanne Frances (Barisano) Foresteire of Melrose died recently. She was 69 years old.

She was the beloved wife of 48 years of Richard James Foresteire  and loyal companion/friend for 54 years; devoted and proud mother of Richard James Foresteire, Jr. and his wife, Kara of Plymouth and Gretchen Jeanne Rich and her husband, Kevin of Melrose; adoring grandmother (Nina) of her angels, Callie and Darby Rich, Grace and Richard James Foresteire, III; loving sister and sister in law of Marie and James McAdam, Margaret Scioli, Susanne and James Cotter, Dianna and Michael Cresta, John and Angela Foresteire, Frederick and Dorothy Foresteire, Eileen and Rudolph Goepner and dear aunt of Lisa and Sean McAdam, Jamie and Robert Scioli, Patrick O’Malley, Theresa Robinson, Fred and Denise Foresteire.

Angelo Luongo of Everett died on January 22.

He was the beloved son of Umberto and Maria (Ferri) Luongo; loving brother of Cristina DeMaria and her husband, Carmine of Everett and he is also survived by his beloved niece, Chloe and nephews, Carmine Jr. and Carlo.

Catherine Amato

Catherine A. (Puleo) Amato of Everett died on January 20.

She was the beloved wife of Salvatore J. Amato; loving mother of Joseph Amato and his wife, Diane of Marlboro, Robert of Everett, Lisa Rossetti and her husband, Richard of Wakefield, Annemarie Sherzi and her husband, Mark of Peabody and Rosemarie Amato of Everett; beloved sister of Robert Puleo. She is also survived by three loving grandchildren: Salvatore, Domenic and Sabatino Rocco, as well as a nephew, John Puleo. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Hercules.

Edward Albert of Malden died on January 19.

Larry Lloyd Davis

Retired Truck Driver for Pappas Liquors

Larry Lloyd Davis of Everett passed away at home on January 26 surrounded by his loving family after a brief illness.  He was 72 years old.

He was a member of the Teamsters’ Union Local 25 for 23 years and a retired truck driver for Pappas Liquors.

Born on September 8, 1940 in Harrison, Montana, the son of the late Mildred (Griffith) and Claire Davis of Phoenix, Oregon, he was the beloved husband of over 22 years of Elena Russo Davis; loving father of Gayle (Dreelan) Jones and her husband, Barry of Reno, Nevada and dear grandfather of Patrick Dreelan of Reno, Nevada, Brandon Dreelan and his wife, Tera of Fort Polk, Louisiana and Kaylee Dreelan of Eugene, Oregon; step-father of Stephanie DiPlatzi and step-grandfather of Jaime DiPlatzi of Everett; dear brother of RaeAnn (Davis) Shonk and her husband, Weldon of Medford, Oregon, Kay (Davis) Conway and her husband, John of Nashua, New Hampshire, Linda (Davis) Jones of Ashland, Oregon, David Davis and his wife, Sue of Medford, Oregon, Cynthia (Davis) Ibanez of Phoenix, Arizona and Vern Davis and his wife, Robin of Talent, Oregon.  He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

Catherine ‘Rose’ Palumbo of Everett died on January 26.

The beloved wife of the late Anthony Palumbo, she was the loving mother of Richard E. Palumbo and his wife, Sandra of Melrose, Roberta C. Cogliano and her husband, Michael of Texas, Bernadette M. Kennedy and her late husband, John of Melrose, Janice A. Pini and her husband, Joseph of Florida and Paul A. Palumbo and his wife, Diane of Melrose and the loving sister of Margaret Monteforte. She is also survived by her sister in-law Clementine Fregosi and predeceased by her late siblings; Erma Colameta, Mary Tribucco, Lena Dumas, Ralph Fregosi and Virginia Lichtenberg. She is also survived by 10 loving grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews. Her Funeral will be held from the Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main St., Everett on Thursday, January 31 at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Anthony Church, Everett at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
