Margaret Lewis

Everett Resident

Margaret T. (Rossetti) Lewis of Everett died on October 20.

She was the beloved wife of the late William J.; loving mother of the Michael A. of Everett and William J. Jr. of North Reading.  She was the sister of 13 late siblings and is also, survived by many nieces and nephews.

Mary Wilson

John Hancock Retiree

Mary L. Wilson of Everett passed away at The Massachusetts General Hospital on October 15.  She was 82 years old.

She was born on October 4, 1930, one of three daughters of the late Harry and Genevieve (Annino) Wilson. She grew up in Everett, graduated from Everett High School in 1948, worked as a supervisor for John Hancock Life Insurance and retired in 1985. Ms. Wilson loved and kept very active with traveling, reading, puzzles, and gambling.

She was the loving sister of Elizabeth Biggi of Everett and the late Madeline Finlay and loving aunt of Joseph Biggi, Eileen Cappello, Janet Hudson, James Biggi, Alan, David and John Finlay and Elaine De Cola. She had many wonderful friends especially her long time best friend Kay Plemenos.

Her funeral was held from The Murphy O’Hara Funeral Home, Everett followed by a Funeral Mass in The Immaculate Conception Church with Reverend Gerald Osterman officiating. Burial was in Puritan Lawn Cemetery, Peabody.

Jeanne Fabian

Educator, Sports Enthusiast and Avid Golfer

Jeanne Fabian, 86 years young, died on October 16.

She was a graduate of Revere High School, received her Master’s degree in Education from Boston University, was an educator in Burlington and Everett and a lifelong sports enthusiast and avid golfer.

She was the daughter of the late Ralph and Florence Fabiano; beloved sister of the late Ralph Fabiano and Donald Fabiano and is survived by her sisters-in-law, Mina Fabiano and Lorriane Fabiano, 19 nieces and nephews and 50 plus great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were private with arrangements by the Stockbridge Funeral Home, Exeter, NH.  Donations in her memory may be made to Massachusetts General Hospital or the American Cancer Society .

Kelly Daly

Nurse 

Kelly A. Daly of Saugus, a former lifelong resident of Everett, died unexpectedly at home on October 18. She was 40 years old.

A nurse and a graduate of Bunker Hill Community College, she was the beloved daughter of Kathleen Daly of Saugus; dear and devoted niece of Joseph M. Daly and his wife, Patricia of Everett and John W. Daly and his wife, Anne of Franklin; loving cousin of James, Joseph, Alyssa and Hannah Daly.

Funeral arrangements were by the Cafasso  & Sons Funeral Home, Everett.  Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. 

Jeannette Juliano

Everett Resident

Jeannette (Ruszkowski) Juliano of Everett died on October 17.

The beloved wife of the late John “Ziggy” Juliano, she was the loving mother of John Juliano and his wife, Nella of Revere and the late Michael who is survived by his wife, Sandy Juliano of North Reading; sister of Robert of Lawrence, Paul of Halifax and the late Joseph Ruszkowski. She is also survived by her three loving grandchildren, Michael and his wife, Jennifer, Kara and her companion, George, Amanda and her companion, Timothy, and four loving great grandchildren: Gianna, Anthony, George and Mason and by many loving nieces and nephews.

Edward Canto

Retired Harvard University Security Guard

Edward E. Canto of East Boston, formerly of Boston’s North End, passed away on October 17. He was 96 years old.

The son of the late Dominic and Sabina (Gisi) Canto, he was born in Boston’s North End on October 3, 1916 and married his late wife Filomena (Nuzzo) Canto there.  He moved to East Boston where he lived the majority of his life.

He worked at Harvard University as security from 1952 to 1979.

Mr. Canto was the father of Sabina Taylor and her late husband, John H. of East Boston, their children John D. Taylor and his wife Anita, Edward Taylor and Judy Crespo and her husband, Richard and their children, Richard Jr., Joshua, Ethan and Evan, all of East Boston; daughter Camille Gilardi and her husband, Louis of N. Reading, Ann Shirley Fritz and her husband, Albert of Everett and the late Edward E. Canto Jr. and his surviving wife, Angela of New Hampshire.  He is also survived by his remaining grand and great-grandchildren; his siblings Peter of Boston, Helen Cacciola of Everett, the late Mary DiTomasso, Anthony, Guy and Dominic; and by many nieces and nephews.

Albert Commito

Of Shrewsbury

Albert S. Commito  of Shrewsbury, formerly of Medford. died on October 15.

A proud U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II, he was the beloved husband of the late Gloria (Basino) Commito; devoted father of Albert Commito and his wife, Anne of Melrose, Anne Commito of Milford, Carol Trickett of Everett, Janis Garland and her husband, Paul of Medford, David Commito and his wife, Carmelina of Shrewsbury, Amy Commito of Everett and the late Robert and Richard Commito and loving grandfather of nine grandchildren. He was the dear brother of Lena Mancuso of Belmont, Virginia Caruso of Mashpee, Evelyn Kushlan of Peabody and Robert Commito of Plymouth.

Thomas Golini

Wakefield Resident

Thomas S. Golini of Wakefield died on October 21.

He was the father of Michael J. Golini and his wife, Susan of Tewksbury and Stephanie A. Golini of Billerica; brother of Carol Carano of Wakefield and grandfather of Nicole Joseph, Michael, Haley and Kelly Golini.
