Antonietta DiCarlo

Of Saugus, formerly of Everett

Antonietta (Figliolini) DiCarlo of Saugus, formerly of Everett, died on February 10.

She was the beloved wife of the late Umberto. mother of Angelo and his wife, Rosa of Italy, Antonio and his wife, Antonietta and Anna Maria Vigorito and her husband, Rocco, all of Saugus.

She was the sister of Giuseppina Mignelli, John Figliolini and Rosa Secondino and is also survived by eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Alfonso ‘Sonny’ Terino

MBTA Retiree, member of Elks, VFW and American Legion

Alfonso F. “Sonny” Terino of Everett died on February 10.

Mr. Terino was a US Army veteran of World War II, a retired MBTA stockman, and a member of the Elks, V.F.W. and American Legion.

He was the beloved husband of the late Raffael “Lovey” (Freda); father of Edward and his wife, Cheryl of Windham, NH, Joanne Terino and her husband, Jonathan Elwell of Canterbury, NH, Regina Schrage and her husband, Edward of Revere, Deborah Mercurio and her husband, James of Revere, and the late Elena; brother of Martha DiRienzo, Frances Myers, Janet DiCalegoro and the late Clementina DiCesare; loving grandfather of Kerri-Ann, Kristine, Francis, Edward, Patricia and Geena and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements were by the Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home, Everett.  Burial was in Puritan Lawn Cemetery, Peabody. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mr. Terino’s memory may be made to the Chelsea Jewish Nursing Home, 17 Lafeyette Ave., Chelsea. www.roccofuneralhomes.com

Edward Higgins

Avid Golfer until age 92

Edward H. Higgins of Billerica, formerly of Everett, died on February 7. He was 93 years old.

An avid golfer who had four holes in one, he golfed up to November of this past year at age 92. He was a member of the Billerica Country Club for many years and enjoyed the friendships and competition of many club members.

He was the son of the late Charles and Anna (Borstrom); beloved husband of the late Viola (Andersen) and father of Mary and her husband, David Ravanesi of Hillsboro Beach, FL and Helene J. Moesch and her husband, Harold of Port St. Lucie, Fl and the late Edward H. Jr. ; brother of the late Frederick, Joseph, Arthur, Anna, Frances, Claire, Dorothy, Hilda, Margaret and Mildred; special uncle to James and Patricia Delconte of Boca Raton, FL. He was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather to many and uncle to many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of his life will be scheduled at the Billerica Country Club during the spring of 2012. In his honor, donations may be made to Hospice by the Sea, 1481 W. Palmetto Park Rd., Boca Raton, FL 33486.

Teddy Swiet

Everett Resident

Teddy Swiet of Everett, formerly of the West End of Boston, died on February 8.

A US Army veteran of World War II, he was the beloved son of the late John and Rose Swietlikowski; loving uncle of Karen Ward of Vermont, Diane Crook of New Hampshire and Gary Crook of Michigan; great uncle of Jonathan, Justin and Kaelyn.

Funeral arrangements were by the Cambridgeside Funeral Home, East Cambridge.

Donald Graham

Lexington Resident

Donald M. Graham of Lexington died on February 6. He was 92 years old.

A US Army veteran of World War II, he was the beloved husband of 62 years of Hazel (Higgins) Graham; loving father of Helen M.E. Graham Cohen of Seattle, Washington and her late husband, Michael, David M. Graham and his partner, Denise Dalmau of Amherst and Martha Graham Alicea of Everett; dear grandfather of Jesse E.G. Cohen of Seattle, WA, and Anthony S. Alicea of Lexington, brother of the late Edna Ruth Hammen, uncle of Carol Carson of Williamsburg and Scott Hammen of Paris, France.

A memorial service will be held at First Parish, 7 Harrington Rd., Lexington on Saturday, February 18 at 2 p.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Kristine Wilhelmi

Worked in Medicaid Fraud Division of the

Attorney General’s Office

Kristine E. (Barrett) Wilhelmi, a lifelong resident of Everett, died on February 5 after a long and courageous battle with cancer at the De Rham Hospice House in Cambridge.  She was 58 years old.

She was employed by the Attorney General’s Office for the Commonwealth of Mass in the Medicaid Fraud division for more than 22 years.

Born in Everett, she was the daughter of the late Donna and Ted Barrett; beloved wife of David C. Wilhelmi; niece of Kenneth Castine and Doris and Robert Gardner; cousin of Ina Brown, Cindy Savioli, Karen Gardner, Glenn Gardner and Peter Gardner and also leaves many second cousins. She was the daughter-in-law of Robert and Julie Wilhelmi and the late Eileen Delong; step-mother of Tammy Wilhelmi and Brian Wilhelmi and his wife, Angie; sister-in-law of Diane Wengren and Liz Paulson.  She is also survived by her extended family at the Attorney General’s Office, who have supported her through these many years.

Funeral arrangements were by the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, Everett.  Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen st. Framingham, MA 01701, would be sincerely appreciated.

Gaetana ‘Rose’ Peluso

Malden Court House Retiree

Gaetana “Rose” (Napoli) Peluso of Everett died peacefully on February 11.

Born and raised in Everett, she had a passionate love of life, cruises, Foxwoods, dancing, the beach and, most of all, her loving family and friends.

She held several jobs over her working career before she retired from the Malden Court House after many years of service at the age of 73 in 2002.

She will be missed by her many friends, coworkers and mostly by her family who loved her more than the life she always lived to the fullest.She was the devoted mother to Charlie Peluso and his wife, Camille of Woburn, Gail Giglio and her husband, Gregg of North Reading and the late Robert Peluso. She was also an adoring “Nana” to Matthew and Jessica Giglio, both of North Reading.

Her Funeral will be held from the Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main St, Everett on Thursday, February 16 at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass St. Anthony Church, Everett at 10. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are today, Wednesday, from 4 to 8 p,m. Burial was in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. He’s full of God’s love and you’ll be blessed by his speech. If you’d be interesting in sharing a testimony and speaking about it, please give us a call. Call the church and ask to speak with Mike Fitzpatrick. We welcome outside speakers to come and share with our groups on God’s behalf. Pray about it and see if the Lord may have put something on your heart that would be an answer to and individual’s need or prayers.
