He was the beloved husband of Gail (Fontaine); devoted father of Cathleen E. O’Meara of Medford, Brian C. O’Meara and his wife, Kate, of Knoxville, TN; loving grandfather of Naomi and Emmett O’Meara of Knoxville, TN; brother of Henry “Hank” O’Meara of Beverly and is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
His Funeral will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford today, Wednesday, at 8 a.m. followed by a funeral mass to be celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Mary M. (Hock) Capone of Everett, formerly of East Boston, died peacefully at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital on March 9. She was 91 years old.
She was the loving wife for 44 years of the late Alfred A. Capone Sr.; the beloved mother of Ann M. Davies and her husband, Paul, of Andover, Alfred A. Capone Jr. and his wife, Virginia of Everett and Flo J. DiPietro and her husband, Ross, of Swampscott. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Paul, John, Brian, Elizabeth and Joseph Davies, Ryan and Christopher DiPietro, and Marisa Capone and six great grandchildren, Shannon, Kristin, Nathan, Brendan, Paul III and Amanda Davies. She was the sister of the late Helen Higginbotham, Emma Albert, William Hock, Dorothy Hock, and Robert Hock.
Her Funeral will be held from the Magrath Funeral Home, 325 Chelsea St [at Day Sq] East Boston today, Wednesday at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady of the Assumption Church at 10 o’clock. Peter J. Perez of Everett died on March 11.
A US Navy veteran of Vietnam, he was a member of the Blue Knights Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club and a retired Sergeant with the Massachusetts State Police.
He was the beloved husband of Tamrae (Beck); father of Nancy Aquino of Everett, Peter J. Career Airforce Master Sergeant
Richard J. “Dick” Banville, Jr. of Escondido, Ca, died March 4 in Cape Girardeau. MO. He was 79 years old.
He was born Aug. 25, 1931, in Everett to Richard and Sadie King Banville, Sr. He and Virginia Elliott were married on March 12, 1955 (she died on January 26, 1999.) He was a retired US Air Force master sergeant who served honorably from 1951 to 1973 in the field of aircraft mechanics. He was awarded two Bronze Star Medals. After retiring from the Air Force, the Banvilles moved to Colorado Springs, Colo, where he worked at Montgomery Ward.
He is survived by two sons, Richard (Sheila) Banville, III of Jackson, Mo., and their sons, Mark Banville of Kansas City, Mo., and David Banville of Washington D.C.; Michael Banville (Robin Berndt) and her son, Josh Berndt, of Grove, OK; four sisters, Theresa O’Donnell, Harriet Veitch, and Sarah McKinnon, all of Everett, and Joan Fenwick of Sacramento, Ca.; and a brother, Jack (Marie) Banville of Elizabeth City, N.C. He was the brother of the late Barbara Crosio.
