Betty L. (Wallace) Hanson of Evansville, Indiana, formerly of Everett, died on November 18.
She was the beloved wife of the late Chester B. Hanson and loving mother of Roberta Kincheloe, Ernest Hanson, Brian Keith Hanson and the late Chester B. Hanson, Jr. She is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

John J. Panico of Wakefield died on November 20.
Mr. Panico was raised in Everett and was a graduate of Everett High School, Class of 1951 and Northeastern University, Class of 1955. He retired from General Electric of Lynn where he had worked for 36 years. Mr. Panico served in the U.S. Air Force, enjoyed sailing on Lake Quannapowitt and was a Trustee of the Quannapowitt Association.
He was the beloved husband of Gigliola (Seminara); loving father of Gloria Panico of Lake Worth, Florida and Sandra Panico of Wakefield; brother of Marie DiPietro of Middleton and is also survived by three nephews.

Benedict C. “Ben” Lentini of Everett, formerly of Boston’s North End, died on November 18 following a brave battle with cancer. He was 82 years old.
He was the beloved husband of 60 years of Marie A. (Taibi); devoted father of Margaret M. Lentini-Cook and her husband, Terry, of N. Andover and Paula A. Lentini-Delmonte and her husband, James, of Methuen; cherished grandfather of Atty. Nicole M. Cook-Gallant and her husband, Christopher, of Methuen, Justin C. Cook and his wife, Marcie, of N. Andover, Michael J. and Matthew P. Delmonte, both of Methuen. He is also lovingly survived by his great grandson Aidan Cook of N. Andover, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Ilario, “Larry P.” Covino died in Revere on November 19 following a long illness. He was 78 years old.
He was a US Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of the Revere ITAMS.
He was the beloved father of Loretta L. Covino-Dumbrack of Rochester, NH, Kathleen L. Rocci of Florida, Lawrence P. Covino of Parkersburg, W.V., Richard E. Covino of Salem, N.H., and the late Joseph A. Covino; devoted brother of Paul S. DeMarco of Waltham, Edith Oxford, Mary A. Smith and Sylvia E. Kovil, all of Revere, Loretta J. DeSisto of Union, ME and Linda Covino of Saugus. He is also lovingly survived by the mother of his children, Barbara A. (Wall) Covino of Parkersburg, W.V., nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Freda (Borr) Reynolds of Chelsea, formerly of Revere, died on November 16. She was 101 years old.
She was born in East Boston, raised in Chelsea and was a graduate of Chelsea High School. She was a life long member of Temple Tifereth Israel of Everett and a member of the sisterhood at the temple. She was also a member of Hadassah and an avid bridge player. Mrs. Reynolds was very devoted to her family; her family was “the most important part of her life.”
She was the beloved wife of the late Albert Reynolds; the devoted mother of Jack Reynolds and his wife, Cindy, Linda Gill and Roxanne Cohen and her husband, Harris; the dear sister of Ethel Band and her husband, Maurice, and several late sisters and a brother. She was also the loving grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Mamie Paratore

Mamie (Bagarella) Paratore, of Melrose, formerly of Everett, died peacefully with her family by her side on November 14 at Epoch Senior Healthcare in Melrose. She was 88 years old.
Born on September 28, 1922 in Boston, one of 13 children of the late Charles Bagarella and Maria (Buttacavoli) Bagarella, she was raised in the West End of Boston and served in the United States Navy during World War II. After being honorably discharged from service, she and her late husband, Joe, moved to Everett to raise their family. She lived in Everett for most of her life until recently moving to Melrose. She will be remembered for her love of bingo.
She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph V. Paratore with whom she shared 61 years of marriage; devoted mother of Valarie Pearsall of Melrose, Denise Matarazzo and her husband, Michael, of Everett, the late Joseph A. Paratore and mother in law of Ann Bramante of Everett; dear sister of the late Grace Agnetta, Peter, John, Gerelomo, Marco, Joey, Sal, Santina Peluso, Emily Ferretti, Julia Hinchey, Rose Busteed, and Marie Pesce; cherished grandmother of Damian, Andrew, Jason, Nadine, Krystal, Lisa, Matthew, Gina, and Michael; loving great grandmother of Mason, Bradey, Andrew, Valerie, and Renee and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Anthony Santilli, a lifelong resident of Everett, died on November 15 at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford. He was 94 years old.
A US Army veteran of World War II, he was born in Everett and was a lifelong resident of this city. He was a retired supervisor for DuPont Paint Company in Everett and a member of the D.A.V.
He was the beloved husband of Marion F. (Armata) Santilli; dear and devoted father of Anthony J. Santilli and his wife, R. June, of Woburn; brother of Joseph Tenaglia of Everett and the late Ida Sciarappa, Lena DiFinis, James and Lt.
