The Jimmy Fund and BOND construction of Everett have joined forces in the fight against cancer through a special Facebook ‘Fan-Raiser” campaign to increase awareness and funding.
The 10 day campaign, to acquire 5,000 new fans of the Jimmy Fund’s official Facebook page was met with overwhelming support from the Facebook community, and quickly surpassed the goal of 5,000 fans only a few days after the launch. BOND construction, of Everett MA, had committed to donate $25,000 to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s goal to enhance care and expand programs for survivors of pediatric and adult cancers.
The successful Facebook challenge, helped increase awareness about work and care provided by the long-running New England charity and Dana-Farber to help cancer survivors live longer, happier lives – a mission that BOND shares with many Jimmy Fund supporters throughout the world.
