Claire A. (Speranza) Diefenbach of Peabody, formerly of East Boston, died suddenly on April 18.
She was the beloved daughter of Mary (Tarantino) and Salvatore Speranza of East Boston; sister of Laura and her husband, James W. O’Brien II, of Salem, Janice and her husband, Lawrence Joyce, Kathleeen and her husband, Michael Hurley, all of Everett, Elaine and her husband Robert Sicotte and Annette Gallo, all of Peabody and Lisa DeVito of East Boston. She was the partner of Leonard Carlan of Peabody and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held in the Magrath Funeral Home, 325 Chelsea St. [at Day Square] East Boston Thursday evening, April 22 at 7 p.m. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers. donations in her memory to the American Lung Assn. would be appreciated.

Angela M. “Angie” DiCesare of Nashua, NH, formerly of Everett, died on April 17. She was 54 years old.
A US Air Force veteran of the Vietnam era, she was the loving daughter of Americo of Everett and the late Sarah (Bowden); loving sister of Linda Sheffield of Everett, Catherine Stanford and her husband, Stephen, of Reading and Lisa of Nashua, NH. She is survived by six loving nephews and one niece.

Jennifer L. Manley of Malden died unexpectedly on April 14.
She was the beloved daughter of Lisa A. Manley of Malden and Gregg F. Manley, Sr. and his wife, Denise, of Everett; loving sister of Melanie M. and Erin E. Manley, both of Malden, and Gregg F. Manley, Jr. and Kyle R.J. Manley, both of Everett; adored granddaughter of Sandra Wickens of Tewksbury. She is also survived by her Godson, Aidan O’Keefe, as well as by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and her furry little sister, Buttons.

John Donnelly
Former Air Traffic Controller
John T. Donnelly of Merrimack, NH died on April 15 after a long illness. He was 71 years old.
A US Navy veteran, he was a former Air Traffic Controller and proud PATCO member. He was also a successful entrepreneur who operated several self-sustaining businesses including JD’s Pizza of Merrimack and was the founder of Reeds Ferry Taxi. He was a consummate lover of music and found joy in voice lessons and performing in public in his later years. A gifted gabber and self-assured participant in a wide variety of discourse, he took great pleasure in his daily engagements with regulars at the DW Diner. He will be terribly missed by all.
Born in Revere, he was a son of the late Mary (Kenneally) Donnelly. A 35 year Merrimack, NH resident, he was raised in Everett among 10 children of whom he is survived by eight.
He was the father of the late Glen Donnelly, who died in 1997. Members of his family include his loving wife of 46 years, Irene (Archer) Donnelly, of Merrimack, two daughters, Lisa Donnelly of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Susan Donnelly of Boston.

The beloved husband of the late Florence R. (Bohan), he was the loving father of Cheryl DeGregorio of Everett, Pasquale Jr. and his wife, Arlene, of Peabody, Gail Moreira and her husband, Joe, of Everett and the late Vincent DeGregorio who is survived by his wife, Donna; loving brother of Christopher, Gerald, and Anthony DeGregorio and the late Anna Coppolla. Kenneth Bryson, a lifelong resident of Everett, died at home on April 15 after a long illness. He was 81 years old.
A US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, he was a retired mail handler for the US Postal Service.
The beloved husband of the late Arlene R. (Spencer); dear and devoted father of Linda Arsenault and John Bryson of Everett; brother of Charles Bryson of Andover, Richard Bryson of Andover and Catherine Mazzochia of Andover; loving grandfather of Nicole Arsenault of Everett and Jennifer Arsenault of Melrose.

Henry ‘Hank’ Norton
Of Lynnfield, formerly of Everett
Henry H. “Hank” Norton of Lynnfield, formerly of Rochester, NH and Everett, died on April 10 after a brief illness. He was 83 years old.
He is reunited with his beloved wife of 63 years, the late Jean (Evely) Norton, who passed away just one month ago.
Mr. Norton was a US Coast Guard veteran of World War II, a retired longtime employee of Domino Sugar Co. and a member of the E Club.
He was the loving father of Denise Fiorentino and her husband, Carl, of Lynnfield, Barry Norton and his wife, Rose, of Wakefield, Kim Laughton of Everett, and Scott Norton of Lynnfield. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
