Angela Venezia, 91

Angela (Moglia) Venezia of Everett died on April 5. She was 91 years old.

The beloved wife of Nicholas Venezia of Everett, she was the loving mother of Lou Venezia of Hoboken, NJ, Nicholas Venezia and his wife, Roseann,of Everett, Phyllis Petitto and her husband, Frank, of Burlington, and the late Thereseann Venezia of Everett; adoring sister of Rita Moglia of Somerville, and the late Louis and Mary Moglia of Somerville; cherished grandmother of Victoria and Mark Petitto of Burlington, Anthony Venezia and his wife, Amy, of Gloucester, and Stephen Venezia of Everett.

Beverly A. (McCaffrey) Johnson of Everett, formerly of Charlestown, died on April 2.

A retired secretery for Wellman Inc. of Boston, she was the beloved mother of CW/4 Michael Johnson U.S. Army and his wife, Debra, of Germany and Edward J. Johnson of Everett; loving grandmother of Michael, Molly, Eddy and Matthew Johnson; devoted sister of James McCaffrey of Everett, Robert McCaffrey and his wife, Ellen, of Florida, Rita Strout and her husband, Paul, of Malden, Irene Keane and her late husband, Neil Keane (B.F.D.), of Charlestown and William McCaffrey of Florida.

Of Wakefield, formerly of Everett

Gertrude A. “Gertie” (Forgione) Sarro of Wakefield, formerly Everett, died recently.

She was the loving wife of the late Joseph W. Sarro; mother of Denise Wholley and her husband, Thomas, of Wakefield and Joseph W. Sarro, Jr. and his wife, Andrea, of Everett; grandmother of Melissa Wholley and her fiance, Michael Rivers, Scott Wholley and Andrew Sarro; sister of Esther Culwell of Everett, Lillian O’Neill of Tewksbury, Katherine McCarte of Florida and the late Celia Johnson, Elizabeth Monastiero and John Forgione, Jr.

Margaret Greene, 79

Everett resident

Margaret (Marchese) Greene of Everett died on April 8 after a courageous fight against leukemia. She was 79 years old.

She was the beloved wife of 55 years of Kenneth Greene; loving mother of Elizabeth White of Danvers, Timothy Greene and his wife, Donna, of Tewksbury, and Deborah Liskov and her husband, Don, of Milford; beloved daughter of the late John and Mary Marchese; loving sister of Rita Zackular of Saugus and Jeannette Gimas of Everett and the late Charles, Michael, Joseph and Edward Marchese and Ann Landano, Victoria Giordano, Mary Colangelo and Gloria Muise.  She is survived by her four loving grandchildren, T.J., Alexandra, Emma and Charlotte as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

Concettina ‘Tina’ DiNatale, 92

Medford resident

Concettina “Tina” DiNatale of Medford died on April 7 at the Kaplan Family Hospice in Danvers. She was 92 years old.

Born in East Boston, she was a Medford resident for more than 63 years and a longtime resident of Vero Beach, Florida.

She was the beloved wife of Anthony DiNatale for over 68 years; dear and devoted mother of Charles DiNatale and his wife, Cynthia, of Derry, NH; JoAnne Saint-Pierre of Greenfield and Bob DiNatale of Medford; sister of Anthony DeVico of Dorchester, Mary Amoroso of South Boston and the late Joseph and Jerry DeVico, Helen Frankina and Evelyn Marzioni; loving grandmother of Anthony, Christopher, Charles Jr.; David and Gregory DiNatale, Marc and Susan Saint-Pierre and loving great-grandmother of Amanda and Hannah DiNatale and Nino and Sofia Saint-Pierre.

George J. Fierimonte Sr. of Everett, formerly of Lowell and Malden, died on April 4.

Esther Culwell

Home Health Aide and Foster Mother

Esther H. (Forgione) Culwell of Everett died on April 9.

Mrs. Culwell worked many years in healthcare as a nurse’s aide and home health aide for inter-city healthcare and was foster mother to 46 babies and children for the Catholic Charitable Bureau.

She was the beloved wife of the late John Edward; mother of Linda Santamaria of Billerica, Joan Preston of Pelham, NH, John E. Jr. of Lynn, Stephen J. of Tewksbury and Timothy A. of Mesa, AZ; daughter of the late John J. Forgione and Esther (Maxfield); sister of Lillian O’Neill of Tewksbury, Katherine McCarte of Florida, the late Celia Johnson, Elizabeth Monastiero, John Forgione and Gertrude Sarro. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Her Funeral will be held from the Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main St., Everett today, Wednesday, April 14 at 10 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in the Immaculate Conception Church at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited. Assistant Dean of Northern Essex Community College

Angela R. (Calistro) Guarino of Tewksbury, formerly of Malden, Everett and East Boston, died on April 9. She was 63 years old.

The Assistant Dean of Northern Essex Community College, she was the daughter of the late Ralph F. and Catherine (Aiello) Calistro; beloved wife of 43 years of Anthony “Tony” Guarino; devoted mother of Catherine Guarino of Tewksbury, Christina M. Mack and her husband, Greg, of Bowling Green, VA and Corinna “Cori” McGinley of Tewksbury; doting grandmother of Sarah, Emily, Erin, Grace and Ryan; sister of Bruno R. Calistro and his wife, Carol, of Dracut and Ralph J. Calistro and his wife, Polly, of New Ipswich, NH; daughter-in-law of Veronica Guarino of Malden and the late Anthony Guarino; sister-in-law of Janice Rice of Barnstead, NH and the late T.J. Rice. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held today, Wednesday, April 14 from the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee Street, Tewksbury at 9 a.m. followed by her Funeral Mass at 10 a.m., at St. William’s Church, 1351 Main St., Rte. 38, Tewksbury.
