Sigmund “Joe” Iwanicki of Everett died on December 7.
The beloved husband of the late Hazel (Pettingill), he was the loving father of Douglas Iwanicki of Everett and Sandra Watson of Florida; brother of the late Frank Iwanicki, Steven Iwanicki, Alex Iwanicki and Sophie Walsh and is also survived by many loving nephews and nieces.

Isaac Martinez
Two months old
Isaac Martinez died on December 27 at the Children’s Hospital in Boston. He was two months old
Born on October 18, with a congenital disease called Charge Syndrome, he endured several surgeries to help aide his short life.
The beloved son of Luis and Nancy Martinez of Everett.
To mourn his loss and cherish his memory, he leaves his parents, his loving brother, Luis Jr. all at home in Everett, his paternal grandparents, Luis Antonio and Maria Martinez and his maternal grandparents Carmen Burgos-Ortiz and Zoilo Ortiz, all of Chelsea.
A funeral service was held at the Pentecostal Church of God on December 31. Burial was in the Meadow of Angels Section of Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Frank A. Welsh and Sons Funeral Home.
Patricia Geremonte
Medical Receptionist of Brockton
Patricia L. Geremonte of Brockton died December 30 surrounded by family and friends. She was 58 years old.
A daughter of the late John and Claire (Cassidy) Piana, she was a longtime medical receptionist at Goddard Medical Associates. She enjoyed music, singing and spoiling her grandchildren.
She was the beloved mother of Danae A. Lamarre and her husband, Lloyd, of Brockton and James M. Geremonte of Brockton; loving grandmother of Caleb J. Lamarre, Dante L. Lamarre, Giana C. Lamarre and Kailyn P. Shepherd; sister of Kevin Piana of Revere, Stephen Piana of Everett and John M. Piana of Florida and the wife of Dana Geremonte for 39 years.

Mary L. McLean of Plymouth, formerly of New Jersey and Boston, died on January 2. She was 50 years old.
Born in Boston on November 28, 1959, she was a daughter of the late William and Louise (Cerullo) Conley and a graduate of Jamaica Plain High School.
The beloved wife of the late Kevin G. McLean, she was the loving mother of Francis “Frank” McLean and his wife, Sheri, of Plymouth; sister of William Conley of New Hampshire, Buddy Conley of Randolph, Charles Conley of Maine, Stephen Conley of Charlestown, Richard Conley of Maine, Sean Conley of Charlestown, Joey Conley of Everett, and the late Robert Conley of Key West, Paul Conley of Boston, and Rose “Dolly” Moon; grandmother of Austin J. Stephen M. Cardillo of Everett died on January 1.
A US Army veteran, he was a member of the Saugus-Everett Lodge of Elks 642, DAV and VFW.
The beloved husband of the late Jacqueline A. (Barchard), he was the dear and devoted father of Stephen J. Cardillo of Amesbury, Stephanie M. Cardillo and her companion, Cynthia Wall, of Salisbury and the late Pierre Morel and his surviving wife, Josephine, of Amesbury; brother of Edward Cardillo and Antonetta Edwards of Everett and the late Walter Cardillo, Florence Pini and Blanche Steidl; loving grandfather of Peter Morel and Jacqueline Cialone and loving great-grandfather of Brianna, Nicole and Nadia Morel.

John Murphy
Longtime truck driver and teamsters member
John F. Murphy of Lantana, Florida, formerly of Danvers and Everett, died on December 26. He was 77 years old.
A truck driver for over 35 years and a proud member of the teamsters, he was the son of John and Julia (Geaney) Murphy of Dorchester and leaves two sisters, Frances Flaherty and Helen Tardinico. He is survived by his ex-wife and partner Christine (Chisholm) Murphy of Lantana, FL and their four children, John J. Murphy of Ft. Lauderdale and his partner, Jaime Martinez, David Murphy of Guthrie, OK, Stephen Murphy of Salem and Jean Bastable and her husband, Richard, of Middleton. He is also survived by his three grandchildren, Jaime Bastable, Justin Murphy and Daniel Murphy.

Florence (DeMaria) Rogers of Everett died on December 29.
She was the beloved wife of the late Donald F. Rogers and loving sister of the late Ersilia Reppucci, Orlando, Alfred and George DeMaria. She is survived by her loving nieces and nephews, Esther A. and Angelo Reppucci, Anna Sasso, Marie Cifra, Ben, Joseph and Alfred DeMaria M.D.

Henry Nazzaro Sr
Owner of Best Gas in North Reading, member of many organizations
Henry B. Nazzaro Sr. died at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center on Christmas Day, December 25. He was 73 years old.
Born, raised and educated in Chelsea, he lived in Andover for the last 31 years. He was the owner and operator of Best Gas on Route 28 in North Reading, a member of the Free Masons, Shriners, North Reading Moose and the North Reading Knights of Columbus. He was also a devoted volunteer at numerous churches including St. Basil’s in Methuen, St. Joseph’s in Wakefield, St. Theresa’s in North Reading, St. Patrick’s in Lawrence and Holy Rosary in Winthrop.
He was the beloved husband of the late Sandra Simons; father of George Nazzaro and his wife, Nancy, of Malden, Henry Jr. and his wife, Kimberly, of Florida, John of Nevada, Mark and his wife, Jenna, of New Hampshire and David Nazzaro of Andover; son of the late George and Michelina (Colerico) Nazzaro; brother of Peter Nazzaro and his wife, Dolores, of Everett an dgrandfather of Janine, Nicole, Jennifer, Nicholas, Derek and Michael.

She was the beloved daughter of the late Denis and Margaret (McCarthy) Leonard; the adored wife of the late Richard “Buddy” Young of Georgetown, formerly of Beverly; loving and devoted mother of Susan Gregory of Newburyport, Christopher Young and his wife, Laura, of Newbury, Michael Young of Georgetown, and Samantha Graham and her husband, Kevin, of Georgetown; dear sister of Margaret (Peg) O’Neil of Parsippany, New Jersey, Jack and his wife, Janice, of North Reading, the late Dennis Leonard and his wife, Beverly, of Everett, the late Edward Leonard and his wife, June, of Everett, her angel brother, Timothy, of Wrentham, her dear twin sisters, Mary and Eileen, of Everett, her brother-in-law Robert Young and his wife, Alma, of Beverly, sister-in-law Marie Russell and her husband, Norman (Dugie), of Beverly. She was the much loved grandmother of Macadam, Genevieve, and Laken. Revered aunt of Joanne, Maureen, Beverly, Dennis, Mark, Patricia, Kristin, Judee, Jack, Timothy, Jeanne, Michael, Linda, Scott, Bradley, and Karen. She is also survived by countless great nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition she will be greatly missed by her U.F.P. Technologies family in Georgetown where she worked so graciously for over 30 years.
She was a sweet, gentle, and charitable soul with an immense capacity for love, kindness and mercy. She was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Georgetown and gave most generously of her time and resources to help others in need. She will be incredibly missed by all of us here on earth and greatly celebrated by all in heaven who have gone before her.
