Everett has become used to a high school football team that does not lose – and then, of course, there are the New England Patriots about whom we share the same feelings.
When the Crimson Tide lost two weeks ago, it was a stab in the heart of the Everett fans – and they were devastated.
But that loss was not the end of the year. Rather, it was the beginning of a new one.
Everett’s win last week, re-established the Crimson Tide as one of the strong teams to beat in the state’s most competitive football division.
Better to get the one bad game out of the way and get on with another great season that may very well be free of losses from here on in.
