North End Waterfront Health (NEW Health), a community health center in Boston, announces it is expanding access to primary care with the addition of three new providers to its medical staff: internist Dr. Catherine Yu, pediatrician Dr. Patricia Guglietta, and family nurse practitioner Bianca Dias-Pigott. The new providers strengthen the health center’s ability to meet the growing demand for primary care services. New patients – both adult and pediatric – are being accepted immediately from throughout the City of Boston, with a particular focus on individuals who live or work in the North End, Waterfront and Charlestown neighborhoods of Boston. Patients who live or work in Cambridge, Chelsea, Everett and Somerville are also accepted.

Dr. Catherine Yu joins NEW Health as an internal medicine physician with additional specialty training in infectious diseases. She earned her medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and completed her residency at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Yu is passionate about improving access to care and serving the diverse medical needs of the community.
Joining the pediatric team is Dr. Patricia M. Guglietta, an experienced primary care pediatrician who graduated from Harvard College and the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. Before coming to NEW Health, she spent more than 20 years at MGH Chelsea, where she served as the sole pediatrician in the refugee program. During her tenure, she was part of a team recognized with a Partners in Excellence Award and was a finalist for the Schwartz Center Compassionate Caregiver Award. Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Guglietta has extensive experience in complex pediatric care, school advocacy, and caring for refugee families. She looks forward to growing NEW Health’s pediatric practice while providing compassionate, equitable, and collaborative care to children and families.
Bianca Mara Dias-Pigott, MSN, APRN, FNP-C is a Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in Family Medicine. She is fluent in English and Portuguese and brings a diverse healthcare background shaped by her training and experience in both Brazil and the United States. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Duke University and completed her Family Nurse Practitioner clinical training at NEW Health, caring for pediatric, adult, geriatric, and OB/GYN patients. She chose to return to NEW Health because of its commitment to compassionate, culturally sensitive care and its mission to improve the health and well-being of the community. Passionate about building lasting relationships with individuals and families, she strives to empower patients through education and partnership in their healthcare journey.
