Albert Louis “Junior” Sciarappa
A True Sports Enthusiast
Albert Louis “Junior” Sciarappa of Everett entered into eternal rest unexpectedly on January 25, in the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. He was 85 years old.
Al was born in Everett and remained a lifelong resident of the city he loved. He worked for Tony Ventura’s Everett Square Sporting Goods until its closing some years ago. A true sports enthusiast, Al loved all sports, especially the local Everett sports teams. During his retirement, you could find Al in Everett Square, walking along Main Street, and on Sundays meeting the boys and old friends at Glendale Park. “Junior”, as he was affectionately called by many family members and old friends, loved his family.
He was the beloved son of the late Alberto and Maria (Russo) Sciarappa.; the dear and devoted brother of Ida Giordano, Gloria Orcione and the late Domenic, James, Angelo Sciarappa, Fred Shepherd, Rose D’Andrea, Frances Deschenes, Jeanette Tortorella, Lena DiGiando, Helen Perelli, Carmella Farro and Florence Vetran; and the loving uncle of Robert F. Giordano, Jr. and Frances Giordano Siciliano and her husband, Joseph, as well as many other nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Relatives and friends attended Al’s visiting hours in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, in Everett on January 29 and his funeral was held from the funeral home on January 30 followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Anthony’s Church, 38 Oakes St., Everett. Interment was in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Albert’s memory to the American Heart Association, 93 Worcester St., Wellesley, MA 02481 would be sincerely appreciated.
Sharon Glover

Sharon K. Glover, 77, passed away peacefully on February 10, in Portsmouth, NH.
Born in Everett in 1946, Sharon was the daughter of the late Harold and Marion (Colella) McKinney and the wife of the late Robert Glover, with whom she shared 54 years of marriage.
Sharon grew up in Revere, graduating from Revere High School in 1964. She was a proud resident of Revere, having resided here for most of her life until moving to New Hampshire several years ago.
She is survived by her sons, Brian Glover and his partner, Anissa Spring, of Epping, Nh, Mark Glover and his wife, Michelle, of Seabrook, Nh, granddaughter, Morgan Glover, her brother, Robert McKinney and his wife, Pamela, and her niece, Kati. She was predeceased by her grandson, Tyler Glover.
