First-year Everett High School head football coach Justin Flores and his team will be tested right away in the 2023 season.
The Crimson Tide, ranked No. 11 in the Top 20 poll, will travel to Westwood Friday to play No. 3-ranked Xaverian.
Xaverian features Michigan State-bound quarterback Henry Hasselbeck, who is the son of former NFL quarterback Matt Hasselbeck. The Hawks also have one of the best wide receivers in the state in senior Jonathan Monteiro, who has committed to Liberty University.
Flores will look to his five captains, Aidan Duclos, Christian Zamor, Jayden Prophete, Pedro Rodriguez, and Domenic Papa, to lead the Crimson Tide to a victory over the powerful Hawks in what is sure to be an exciting intersectional matchup before a capacity crowd at the Hawk Bowl in Westwood.
