Family and friends are fondly remembering Melissa Bagley, the heroic mother who died while trying to rescue her 10-year-old son from a fast-moving current in the waters of Franconia Falls in New Hampshire.
Funeral services for Mrs. Bagley will be held Thursday, Aug. 24 at 10 a.m. at Saint John the Evangelist Church in Swampscott. A visitation is being held today at Solimine Funeral Home in Lynn.
Mrs. Bagley is the wife of Everett Police Lt. Sean Bagley.
The family was on a trip to Franconia Falls Aug. 15 when the tragic accident occurred.
