Friends and supporters gathered at the 8/10 Grille on June 18 to officially kick off the campaign for Dan Skeritt, who is running for Everett City Council at Large.
“I’m humbled by the outpouring of support here tonight and the encouragement I’ve received from people I’ve met during the campaign thus far,” said Skeritt. “I’m looking forward to the continued campaign and sharing my positive vision for our City.”
Skeritt is a new face on the political circuit, but has been an active member of the Everett community since moving here six years ago. He has been knocking on doors and shaking hands since early spring and was the first candidate to be certified to appear on the ballot.
“As a parent, a small business owner, and a community activist, I understand the changes facing our city and the special challenges that come with being such a diverse community,” he said. “I’ll bring that experience to the City Council to represent the needs of all of our residents.”
