Starting from the Parlin Library with a quick breakfast multiple groups met at many locations throughout the City where many gathered to help clean up tot-lots, fields, walkways and other areas throughout the city.
Judging by the two truckloads of trash and Recycling the city hauled away, all the groups worked right up to the 12:00 PM end time and enjoyed a delicious lunch provided by The Square Deli.
With the success of the city’s annual Spring Cleanup, the Mayor is already quickly planning a Fall Cleanup to complement this popular event and to get additional volunteers to help keep the city clean.
