Concetta Mary Falco

Of Somerville, formerly of the North End

Concetta Mary (Coppola) Falco of Somerville, formerly of Boston’s North End, died on Friday, August 20. She was 90 years old.

She was the cherished daughter of the late Josephine (Guidice) and Anthony Coppola; loving wife of the late Charles Falco; beloved mother of Charles J. Falco and Marianne Wetzonis and her husband, Michael, all of Somerville, Michael Falco and his wife, Debora, of Medford, and Mark Falco and his wife, Nancy, of Rockville, MD; cherished grandmother of Michael, Debra and her husband, Michael, Marie and her husband, Brad, Charlie, Cara, Amanda, and Aimee and loving great grandmother of Sean, Ronan, Katherine, and Julia. She was the beloved sister of Jennie Davino of Everett and the late Joseph, Frank, Michael, and Mary Coppola, and Catherine Toppi.

Arrangements were by the Boston Harborside Home J.S. Waterman & Sons-Waring-Langone. Burial was in St. Michael Cemetery, Boston. John Hegarty

Malden resident

John F. “Johnny” Hegarty of Malden died unexpectedly on August 20.

The beloved son of the late John and Frances Hegarty, he was the loving brother of Joanne Stewart and her husband, John, of Everett, Rose Marie LoPresti and her husband, Robert, of Winthrop, Kerry Frances Hegarty of Weymouth, and Ellen Nellie Belmont and her husband, Tony, of Las Vegas, and the late Mary Ellen White; the dear uncle of Kelly, Kristy, Heath, Stephanie, Sean, Lauren, Renee, Gina, Jennifer, and the late Joseph and is also survived by several special grand nieces and nephews.

His Funeral will be held from the Norton Funeral Home, 287 Main St., Malden Square, today, Wednesday, August 25 at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at Sacred Hearts Church at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited. Armand Auger

Of Tewksbury, formerly of Everett

Armand V. Auger of Tewksbury, formerly of Everett, died on August 21. He was 96 years old.

In 1944, Mr. Auger founded the Auger Heating Company of Malden and Everett, which he operated for more than 40 years. In the early 1980’s, he founded the Auger Realty Company of Revere.

He was the son of the late Louis and Marianne (Lavallee) Auger; beloved husband of 70 years to Marie-Jeanne (Petrilli) Auger; devoted father of John P. of Hollis, ME, Richard and his wife, Laurie, of Boxford, Roger and his wife, Linnie, of Billerica, Donald and his wife, Debbie, of Tewksbury, Diane Kelley and her husband, John, of Tewksbury and the late Claire Devanna; brother of Pauline Savage and Therese Descoteau, both of Worcester and the late Leo, Bernadette and Connie Auger, and Isabelle Morin. He leaves 15 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

James ‘Dapper’ Dolaher

Charlestown resident

James P. “Dapper” Dolaher of Charlestown died unexpectedly, on August 20. He was 75 years old.

A US Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War, he was the beloved husband of the late Catherine A. “Kitty” (Buckley) Dolaher who died on February 3; the devoted father of James P. Dolaher and his friend, Karen McHugh, of Charlestown, Karen Hakkam and her husband, Ahmed, of Haverhill, Michael P. Dolaher and his wife, Kathleen, of Quincy, Patricia Pires and her husband, Derek, and Maureen Getchell and her husband, John, of Everett; loving Papa to 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was the beloved son of the late James and Helen V. (McHugh) Dolaher; beloved brother of Francis Dolaher of Saugus, Joseph Dolaher of Centerville, Kathleen Jones of Falmouth, and the late Edward Dolaher and loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Eleanor Leccese

Malden resident

Eleanor (Guliano) Leccese of Malden died on August 18.

She was the beloved wife of the late William E.; loving mother of Ann Tilton of Malden and William Leccese, Jr. and his wife, Donna, of Tewksbury; loving daughter of the late Cosimo and Angelina Guliano and is also survived by her loving brother, Alfred Guliano, and his wife, Lauretta, of Florida. She was the sister of the late Lucy Russo and Emil Guliano. Mrs. Leccese also leaves five loving grandchildren, Robert Tilton, Jr. of Malden, Brian Tilton of Malden, William Leccese, III and his wife, Patti Ann, and Danielle Leccese and her fiancé, Chad Harris, all of New Hampshire and Nickolas and one loving great granddaughter, Alexis, as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

Pauline Bishop

Of Florida, formerly of Everett

Pauline (Decrescentis) Bishop of Titusville, FL, formerly of Everett, died on June 4. She was 94 years old.

She was the wife of the late Joseph Bishop; loving mother of Luigi Venezia of California, Phyllis Monroe and the late James Monroe of Everett, Joanne Sordillo and the late Edward Sordillo of Charlestown, Anthony and Pamela Venezia of Florida and the late Nicholas Venezia of California and mother in law of Kathleen Venezia of Everett. She was the loving sister of Americo Decrescentis, Mary (Decrescentis) Massaro of Florida and Silvo Decrescentis of Aqulia of Italy; cherished grandmother of 17 and great grandmother of several.

A Memorial Mass was held at St. Mary of the Assumption Parish, Revere.

 

Edward Buchanan

Truck Driver

Edward Buchanan of Everett, formerly of Saugus, died unexpectedly on August 14 in Maine. He was 54 years old.

Born in Malden, the son of the late Charles and Elizabeth (Konczal) Buchanan, he was raised and educated in Saugus and was graduate of Saugus High School, class of 1973. He worked as a truck driver for Caruso Trucking in Revere for more than 30 years. He enjoyed biking, cooking and was a lover of animals, especially dogs.

He is survived by his loving fiancé, Lois Guido, of Everett, his brother Jack “Cuzzin” Buchanan of North Waterboro, Maine, and by many dear friends in Maine and Massachusetts.

Retired Bookkeeper

Teresa R. (Ruotolo) Wholley died in Mansfield on August 15. She was 81 years old.

She was born, raised and educated in Everett, the daughter of the late Frances (Lanni) and Ralph Ruotolo. She was a bookkeeper for various companies for many years.

The wife of the late Joseph E. Wholley, she was the mother of Joseph D. Wholley of Frammingham, Edward F. Wholley of Raynham, Diane Olson of Norton, Steven P. Wholley of Mansfield and the late William J. Wholley; sister of Rose Ricciardi, Frances Arcari and Carmella Marchant, all of Everett, and is also survived by 14 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Retired Master Electrician

Michael DiStefano of Everett died on August 13. He was 76 years old.

Mr. DiStefano was a US Coast Guard veteran of the Korean War and a retired licensed master electrician.

He was the beloved companion of Carole Spaulding of Everett; loving father of Michael DiStefano of California, Karen Scola of Texas and Steven DiStefano of Everett; loving stepfather of Nancy, Theresa, Sheila, Maryann and Frank; loving brother of Frank DiStefano, the late Rose Barresy and the late Mary Pappalardo; cherished grandfather of Edward DiStefano. He is also survived by many dear nieces and nephews.

Frank Johnson

Middlesex County Sheriff’s Department retiree

Frank E. Johnson died on August 15 after a long illness at The Newton Wellesley Hospital. He was 70 years old.

Born in Cambridge, he grew up in Everett and attended the Everett Schools.  He lived in Medford for the past 45 years and retired eight years ago from the Middlesex County Sheriff’s Department.

He was the loving husband of Olga C. (Dandaneau) Johnson and cherished father of Frank E. Jr. and his wife, Sheri Elliott-Johnson, of California, Lisa Hinton, Michael and his wife, Tracy Johnson, Olga and her husband, Michael Correia, and Kathleen Johnson, all of Medford; brother of Patricia and her husband, Joseph Fialli, of Everett, and the late Fred Johnson Jr. He was the grandfather of Nicole, Scott, Tori, Jade, Kira, and Max.

His Funeral was held from The Murphy O’Hara Funeral Home, Everett. Burial was in Glenwood Cemetery.

 

Patricia Williams

Arlington resident

Patricia M. (Hoar) Williams of Arlington died on August 15.

She was the beloved wife of 59 years to Paul; loving mother of Paul “Jerry” of Everett, Daniel of Lowell, Lawrence of Medford, Richard of Medford and James of Arlington; sister of Marion Gavin of Hingham, the late John, Betty. Fran and Dot. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Ryan, Patrick, Matthew, Kristy, John, Paul, Patty, and extended loving family.

Arlene M. Doyle of Derry, NH died at home on August 16.

Mrs. Doyle was born in Bronx, NY on July 11, 1933 and has lived in Derry for the past 14 years, formerly living in Everett.

The beloved wife of 33 years of Peter F. Doyle, Jr. of Derry, NH with whom she enjoyed taking frequent trips with to Foxwoods Casino, she was the beloved mother of the late Edwin Sheehan who died in 1995.
