Everett Homecoming A Big Success

The Everett High School football program joined the community in celebrating the annual Homecoming game Friday night, matching longtime GBL rivals, Everett and Revere.

The festivities started with a rolling rally, escorted by the Everett Police Department. The Crimson Tide mascot, the EHS Marching Band, and cheerleaders toured Everett’s ten schools. In the afternoon, the Marching Band and Everett Fire Department led a pre-game procession from Everett High to Veterans Memorial Stadium, where EHS students enjoyed food trucks, games, and activities before the 6 p.m. kickoff.

Everett and Revere fans entering the stadium received an eminently designed, full-color souvenir program that featured Bob Marra’s wonderful photography (including a dramatic cover photo of running back Tyler Freni), a “Legends of the Game” look at the 2007 Crimson Tide Super Bowl champions, a thoughtful message from Supt. William Hart, an Everett 2026 team photo, and the rosters of both teams.

The athletic program also announced its first-ever Hall of Fame class, with the induction dinner scheduled for March, 2027.
