The Everett High School football team rolled to a dominating 48-8 victory over Lynn Classical Friday at Manning Field in Lynn.
Jeremiah Clark (3 touchdown passes) and Carlos Rodriguez (70-yard TD pass, 66-yard TD run, 38-yard TD reception) led the high-powered Everett offense. Manny Santiago (9 carries for 58 yards) had touchdown runs of 16 yards and 2 yards.
Clark was 7-of-12 for 143 yards, with two TD passes to Yariel Ortiz and one to Rodriguez.
Ortiz, who has emerged as one of the state’s most productive pass receivers, had three catches for 108 yards. For the season, Ortiz has 37 catches for 736 yards and 11 touchdowns.
Coach Justin Flores Crimson Tide contingent (3-4), which currently holds the final (No. 16) playoff spot in the Division 1 power rankings, hosts Revere (3-4) Friday night. Revere is red-hot after three consecutive victories, with head coach Lou Cicatelli reaching the 100th career-victory milestone in last week’s 24-14 decision over Malden.
