The City Council took a voice vote Monday to refer the longevity pay schedule ordinance for the office of Mayor to a special Council meeting on Thursday, Feb. 17.
At that special meeting, the Council will vote on the first reading of the newly proposed ordinance. The Council will vote for the proposed ordainment of the final ordinance at its meeting on Monday, March 14.
