Night Shift Brewing hosted their first ever Crushin’ It 5K road race on Saturday, May 22, in Everett. The virtual road race celebrated the launch of Night Shift Brewing’s 12-pack Whirlpool hazy pale ale, and brought fans, friends and staff together to raise money for an incredible cause. With over 486 registered participants from 17 states, the Crushin’ It 5K raised a $5,000 donation to Feeding America.
“The first Crushin’ It 5K was a great success and we appreciate everyone lacing up to celebrate and raise money for Feeding America,” said Night Shift Brewing Co-Founder Michael Oxton. “We hope to make this a new tradition, bigger and better for years to come.”
Runners and walkers from MA, CT, RI, NY, PA, NJ, NC, VA, MI, CA, TX, FL, KY, UT, MN, DC and Quebec virtually joined forces to celebrate Night Shift Brewing and support Feeding America, a non-profit with a nationwide network of more than 200 food banks. Local companies Marathon Sports, RunRX, PilatesRX and MYSTRYDE also donated gift cards and experiences for the Crushin’ It 5K raffle. Over 300 runners attended the post-race, covid safe, patio party at the Night Shift Brewing Everett taproom.
