Endicott College Announces Local Dean’s List Students
Endicott College, the first college in the U.S. to require internships of its students, is pleased to announce its Fall 2019 Dean’s List students. In order to qualify for the Dean’s List, a student must obtain a minimum grade point average of 3.5, receive no letter grade below “C,” have no withdrawal grades, and be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credits for the semester.

Gonzalez Garcia Named to Emerson College Dean’s List for Fall 2019 Semester
Victoria Gonzalez Garcia, a native of Everett, MA, has been named to the Emerson College Dean’s List for the Fall 2019 semester. Gonzalez Garcia is majoring in Journalism and is a member of the Class of 2020. The requirement to make Emerson’s Dean’s List is a grade point average of 3.7 or higher.

McCarthy Named to Dean’s List at Mount St. Mary’s University
Brenden McCarthy of Everett has earned Dean’s List honors for the Fall 2019 semester at Mount St. Mary’s University.
Mount St. Mary’s University is a private, liberal arts, Catholic university in the Catoctin Mountains near historic Emmitsburg, Maryland, with a satellite campus in Frederick, Maryland’s second largest city. The university offers more than 70 majors, minors, concentrations and special programs for traditional undergraduate students, and more than 20 adult undergraduate and graduate level programs. The Mount includes Mount St. Mary’s Seminary, the second oldest in the United States, and the National Shrine Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes, an idyllic shrine for spiritual reflection located on the hill above the university.
Bessler Named to Dean’s List for the Fall 2019 Semester at Quinnipiac University
Erin Bessler of Everett was named to the dean’s list for the Fall 2019 semester at Quinnipiac University.
To qualify for the dean’s list, students must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 with no grade lower than C. Full-time students must complete at least 14 credits in a semester, with at least 12 credits that have been graded on a letter grade basis to be eligible. Part-time students must complete at least six credits during a semester.
Quinnipiac is a private, coeducational, nonsectarian institution located 90 minutes north of New York City and two hours from Boston. The university enrolls 7,000 full-time undergraduate and 3,000 graduate and part-time students in 110 degree programs through its Schools of Business, Communications, Education, Engineering, Health Sciences, Law, Medicine, Nursing and the College of Arts and Sciences.
Small Named to Springfield College Dean’s List
Springfield College has named Kaya Small from Everett to the dean’s list for academic excellence for the fall 2019 term. Small is studying Psychology.
Criteria for selection to the dean’s list requires that the student must have a minimum semester grade point average of 3.500 for the semester.

Students named to the Dean’s List at the University of New Hampshire are students who have earned recognition through their superior scholastic performance during a semester enrolled in a full-time course load (12 or more graded credits). Highest honors are awarded to students who earn a semester grade point average of 3.85 or better out of a possible 4.0. Students with a 3.65 to 3.84 average are awarded high honors and students whose grade point average is 3.5 through 3.64 are awarded honors.
