Denning, Nicole Renee Denning of Everett died suddenly on May 28 at the age of 36.
Nicole was a life-long resident of Everett and a graduate of Everett High School. A kind, caring and compassionate person, Nicole was a friend to all. Her smile would light up a room, and she made a positive and lasting impression upon all those she encountered. Nicole worked for many years until the time of her death as a licensed massage therapist. Nicole was a talented painter, and in her free time, she derived great pleasure and pride in her interior decorating and artistic pursuits.
She was the precious daughter of Anna M. of Everett and the late Michael Denning and loving granddaughter of the late Aline and Robert “Red” Mitchell and the late Dorothea “Dolly” and Stephen Denning. Nicole is survived by her beloved daughter, Neeysa (the light of her life), her sister and brother-in-law, Keri and Paul Saccardo of Billerica, her brother Michael of Everett, her niece and nephew, Corin and Paul Saccardo and Shaye Denning, her uncle, Robert Mitchell and his wife Erin of Peabody. Nicole will also be sadly missed by her many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Warren ‘Chickie’ Clifford
Former Everett City Councilman
Warren T. “Chickie” Clifford, a lifelong resident of Everett and a former City Councilman, passed away on May 28 at the age of 91.
Chickie served his country in the US Navy during World War II. He served his community as a youth baseball coach for many years. He was on the Common Council for nine terms and served as its president in 1978.
The beloved son of the late Charles and Mary Clifford, he was the cherished husband of the late Josephine (Covino), devoted father to the late Kevin Clifford of Reading and Joy Pippy and her husband, Glenn of Peabody. Warren is also survived by his grandsons: Jarred and Daniel Pippy of Somerville, Andrew Pippy and his wife, Kerrianne of Melrose, Brendan and Kyle Clifford of Reading and Colby Clifford of Woburn. He also leaves behind his great-grandson, Carter. He was preceded in death by his sister Margaret Connolly and his brothers: David and James Waltz, John, George, Charles and Henry Clifford. Also surviving are many loving nieces, nephews and close friends.
Visitation will be held at the Immaculate Conception Church, 487 Broadway, Everett on Thursday morning at 10 a.m. A Funeral Mass will follow at The Immaculate Conception Church at 11 a.m. Entombment immediately following will be at the Holy Cross Mausoleum in Malden. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions in Chickie’s name be made to: The Chelsea Soldier’s Home Activity Department, 91 Crest Ave. Chelsea, Ma 02150.
