EPD Searches for Robbery Suspects

Everett Chief of Police Steven A. Mazzie reported that units from the Everett Police Department responded to the Tedeschi’s Market at 511 Broadway Monday morning, Jan. 25, for a report of an armed robbery.

Responding officers spoke to the clerk, (name withheld by request), who was bleeding heavily from a head wound. The clerk reported two black males, one wearing a blue jacket and another wearing a red jacket and masks, entered the store demanding money. The suspect with the blue jacket struck the clerk with the butt of the gun and fled with an undetermined amount of U.S. currency. The clerk was transported to the Whidden Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

A search of the area by responding patrol units failed to locate the suspects.

A still shot of the surveillance video in the Tedeschi’s shows one suspect approaching the clerk and battering him on the head with the butt of a gun.
