Miriam Peavey

Former longtime Stop & Shop Employee

Miriam (Dodge) Peavey of Everett died on January 1. She was 81 years old.

An avid gardener and reader, she was a former longtime employee for Stop & Shop in Everett.

She was the beloved wife of Melvin F. “Bud” Peavey; loving mother of Kenneth F. Peavey and his wife, Betty of Peabody, Nancy R. Gallagher of Billerica and Susan E. Guess and her husband, Mark of Des Moines, IA. She is also survived by seven cherished grandchildren and one cherished great grandchild.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a funeral at the JF Ward Funeral Home, 772 Broadway, Everett, on Thursday, January 5 at 10 a.m. Visiting hours will be held today, Wednesday, from 4 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Everett. Roberta Moore

Certified Nursing Assistant

Roberta E. (Hale) Moore of Wakefield, formerly of Everett, died on December 30 surrounded by her loving family.  She was 73 years old.

Married to her beloved late husband, Jay, for 53 years, she was born in Everett, the daughter of the late Walter and Olive (Johnston) Hale.  She was raised in Everett, and was a graduate of Everett High School, class of 1956.

She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant, caring for the elderly for many years.

She spent 23 years serving the Friendly Circle of the Blind, and served as President the last three years.  She was an active member of Glendale United Methodist Church in Everett.  She loved her church, and sang in the church choir and taught Sunday School.  She enjoyed crossword and jigsaw puzzles and loved to crochet.  Her family was very important to her and she cherished the time she spent with them.

She was the loving mother of Laura and her husband, Carlton Rousseau of Union, NH, Thomas and his wife, Holly Moore of Revere, Scott Moore of Windham, NH, Michelle and her husband, Walter Glassett of Lynn, and Sandra and her husband, Scott Raimo of Peabody; the cherished grandmother of Elizabeth (Rousseau) Kester, Thomas and Jeffrey Moore, Cassandra (Rousseau) Wallace, Jennifer Moore, Vincent LoBuono, Jaydn Glassett, Joshua Raimo, Nicholas Moore, Robert Raimo, and Zackary Glassett and the dear great-grandmother of Drake and Darien Kester, Madisen Rousseau and Jordan Lawton; beloved sister of Doris Smith, Mildred Haley, Olive Busler, Edwin Hale, Marjorie Saunders, and the late Jeannette Bartley and Walter Hale, Jr.  She also leaves many nieces and nephews.

Henry Gallucci

Henry L. Gallucci of Billerica died on December 30.

He was the beloved husband of Rosemarie (Branco); father of Angela Arsenault and her husband, Billy of New Hampshire, Henry L. of Everett, Margaret of Methuen and Marie Berrabah Pastos and her husband, Dimitrios Pastos of Lynn. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

His Funeral will be held from the Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main St., Everett on Thursday, January 5 at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Anthony Church at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited. Marjorie A. (Dowd) Mitchell of Everett, formerly of Somerville, died on December 19.

She was the beloved wife of the late John; devoted mother of Maureen Connors and her husband, Paul of North Andover, John Mitchell and his wife, Betty of Everett and the late Kathleen McCarthy; mother in law of Stephen McCarthy of Somerville and is also survived by five loving grandchildren. She was the sister of Gertrude Mitchell of Tennessee, Marie Wilson of California and the late Lawrence Dowd.

Anna M. Doyle of Everett died on December 26. She was 83 years old.

The loving sister of the late George Tacey and Margaret Doyle, she was the cherished grand aunt of Diana Keddie and her husband, Sean of Methuen, and their children Dylan and Ian. She was also loved by many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Christopher Belloise

Animal Lover and Accomplished Artist

Christopher J. Belloise, a long time resident of Everett, died unexpectedly on December 26 at the Whidden Memorial Hospital. He was 33 years old.

A construction worker born in Lynn, he was a dedicated and devout animal lover and an accomplished artist.

He was the beloved son of Cecile M. (Lamphier) of Revere and the late Joseph M. Belloisek;  the loving fiance of Rosina Petrella of Somerville; dear brother of Michael Belloise and his wife, Rebecca, Jason Belloise and Valerie Belloise, all of Everett; devoted uncle of Haley, Kendall and Collin Belloise and Emma and  Theodore Mitchell.

John P. “Johnny” Sarno of Malden, formerly of Everett and the North End of Boston, died on December 22.

He was the beloved son of the late Edward and Lucy (Infantino) Sarno; loving brother of Carol Reppucci, Kathleen Coppola and Richard Sarno and is also survived by his loving nieces, Lisa McIntosh and Taryn Spinazzola and a nephew, Ryan Thistle as well as the late Ronnie Reppucci.

Susan P. (Lavenia) Nicolosi of Reading, formerly of Everett, died on December 24.

She was the beloved daughter of Charles Lavenia and the late Elizabeth; loving sister of Maryann Lavenia of Reading and is also survived by her loving nephews, Aries, Jason and Nicholas and niece Vanessa as well as many loving great nieces and nephews.
