Mayor Carlo and Stacy DeMaria Jr. invites all residents and businesses for a Holiday Luncheon on Friday, December 23 at the 8/10 Restaurant from 11:30 a.m, – 2:30 p.m. on Norwood Street to celebrate and support the Human Services Department.
Everett’s Department of Human Services works tirelessly throughout the year to provide assistance to Everett’s disadvantaged seniors and families. This year, while the department was successfully able to provide assistance to children for the holidays, the ability to provide assistance into the winter months is diminishing due to State and Federal budget cuts.
In the spirit of giving, the Mayor is asking all to consider making a donation to the City’s Human Services Department. Any amount that fits your comfort and budget level is appreciated.
Checks should be made payable to “The City of Everett, Department of Human Services”. Donations will be accepted at the Holiday Luncheon on Friday, or any time more convenient for you. We are encouraging residents and businesses to join together to benefit those who need the most during this season.
