They are 6-19 in September and are coming as close to facing an end as the Patriots did last Sunday with three seconds to go in the game.
Some have suggested that if Red Sox management paid more money to the players that they might have more incentive to win. We don’t think so. The opposite might be true.
Suggestions like paying them more to win are a joke of course, as the Red Sox are way up near the top of being the highest paid baseball team in all the leagues.
The tough reality is that the Sox are nearly dead, with just a few breaths left in them and very little hope as they stare at the possibility of the Wild Card.
