Grace Galloway

16-Year Whidden Hospital Volunteer

Grace E. Galloway of Methuen, formerly a long time resident of Everett and Newton Centre, died on February 19.

A former Bank of Boston telecommunications department employee and a proud Whidden Hospital volunteer for 16 years, she was the beloved daughter of the late Robert M. and Lillian E. (Brodie) Galloway; devoted cousin of Dorothy Latta and her husband, David, of Stoneham, David McCall and his wife, Elaine, of Wakefield, Charles Pelletier and his wife, Jeannette, of Connecticut, Richard Pelletier of Connecticut and James Galloway of Braintree; adoptive mother of Robert Young and his wife, Catherine, of Methuen and adoptive grandmother of Lisa, Robert and Danielle and three great grandchildren. She is also survived by many close friends and her church family.

Her Funeral Service will be held in the Austin Square Baptist Church, corner of Boston Street and Kelsar Avenue, Lynn, today, Wednesday at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited. John Tamboli

Driver for Airborne Express/DHL

John C. Tamboli, a well known and beloved resident of Tewksbury for the past 16 years, formerly of Everett, died February 19, at his home, surrounded by his friends and family, following a courageous year long battle with cancer. He was 47 years old.

He was the beloved husband of Jeanine M. (Withrow) Tamboli, with whom he celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary this past May 20.

He was born in Everett on November 27, 1963, one of six children of Lorenzo and Victoria (Visconti) Tamboli, who reside in Everett. He graduated from Pope John XXIII High School in Everett as a member of the “Class of 1981.”
He worked as a driver for the Airborne Express/DHL Company and was a member of the Teamsters Local 25 in Charlestown.

He and his family were active members in the Tewksbury community as well as St. William’s Parish community, and he was a member of the Fr. Coppen’s Council 4336, Knights of Columbus in Tewksbury. Through his health issues, his numerous friends formed a group known as “Team Tamboli”. He will be remembered for his devotion and deep love for his immediate and extended family and circle of friends, some of whom are known as the Traveling Party.

In addition to his beloved wife and parents, he is survived by a daughter, Christina Marie Tamboli, a son, William L. “Billy” Tamboli, both of Tewksbury; five siblings and their spouses, Vincent and Denise Tamboli of Florida, Rosemary and Lino Petrangelo of Revere, Victoria “Tori” and Brian McCarthy, Andrea and John Lynch, and Lisa Tamboli, all of Everett; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Richard and Carole (Reardon) Withrow of Tewksbury; his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Gary and Marie-Elena Withrow of Florida, Richard and Karen Withrow, Robert and Jeannine Withrow, and Jennifer Withrow, all of Winthrop, many loving and beloved nieces, nephews, uncles, and cousins.

His funeral will begin today, Wednesday, Feb. 23, at 10:30 a.m. from the Tewksbury Funeral Home, corner of 1 Dewey and 97 Main Streets, (Route 38) Tewksbury Center followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. in St. William’s Church, 1351 Main St. (Rte 38) Tewksbury. Margaret DiGiovanni-Garrett

Of Winthrop, formerly of Everett

Margaret M. (Coscia) DiGiovanni-Garrett, formerly of East Boston and Everett, died in Winthrop on February 16. She was 81 years old.

She was the wife of the late Armando DiGiovanni and Jimmie L. Garrett; devoted mother of Jimmie L. Garrett Jr. and his wife, Lorraine, of Rockwall, TX, David W. Garrett and his wife, Yoncha,  and Patrick Garrett and his wife, Karen, all of Derry, NH; cherished grandmother of Michael R. Garrett and his wife, Alisha, of Rockwall, TX, Airman Spec. Stephen D. Garrett, USAF of Arkansas, Briana L., Maryann C. and Sarah E. Garrett, all of Derry, NH; dear sister of Roy Coscia of East Boston. She is also lovingly survived by her two great grandchildren, Lily and Jack Garrett.

Bridget Hardy

Of New Hampshire, formerly of Lynn

Bridget E. (Conway) Hardy of Pembroke, NH, formerly of Lynn, died on February 14. She was 62 years old.

The wife of the late William H. Hardy, she was the loving mother of Theresa E. Corcoran and her husband. Steve, of Everett, Lisa Ann Hardy and her fiancé, David Callahan, of Allenstown, NH, Debra Lynn Schrader of Jacksonville, FL, Kathleen Marie Sacco and her husband, Michael, of Lynn and Maureen Ethel Hardy of Lynn; sister of Ellen T. Hardy and her husband, Francis X., of Peabody. She also leaves eight grandchildren.

Madeline L. (Beauchamp) Finlay of Everett died on February 14.

She was the beloved wife of the late Harry F. Finlay and devoted mother of Allan Finlay of Melrose, David and his wife, Geri Finlay, of Malden, Elaine DeCola and her husband, Nick, of Malden, and John and his wife, Jo-Ann Finlay, of Melrose; sister of Elizabeth Biggi and Mary Wilson of Everett and is also survived by seven grandchildren.

Martha J. (Luciano) DeMartino of Everett died on February 15.

The beloved wife of Joseph A., she was the dear and devoted mother of Joseph A., Jr. and his wife, Louise, of Saugus and Carolyn  Sanford and her husband, David, of Billerica; sister of Felix Luciano of Tewksbury, Camille “Millie” Fiore of Revere, Mary Lou Signoriello of Everett and the late Frank Luciano; loving grandmother of Erin Deleidi, Joseph A, III, Michael and James DeMartino and great-grandmother of three great granddaughters.

Funeral services were held in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home,  Everett. Burial was at Glenwood Cemetery, Everett.

Justin ‘Marsi’ Marsinelli

Las Vegas H.V.A.C. Union member

Justin N. “Marsi” Marsinelli of Everett died on February 9.

A member of Las Vegas H.V.A.C. union, he was the son of Susan Bruce of Methuen and John Marsinelli of Everett; brother of Joshua of Methuen and John of Cambridge; grandson of Barbara Katzen of North Carolina and the late Rose and Francis Acorn and Mr. and Mrs. Marsinelli.  He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and his loyal dog “Jemma.”

Anna M. (Braccio) DiPietro of Everett died on February 16.

She was the beloved wife of the late Ralph F. DiPietro and loving mother of Cecelia “Cece” Yavarow and her husband, Richard, of Billerica. She is survived by her four loving grandchildren, Andrew, Tanya, Chad and Scott as well as six loving great grandchildren.
