Local Union Electricians Team Up With Boston Celtics To Host an Unforgettable Evening

A group of Everett youths had a memorable experience attending February 9’s exciting Boston Celtics game at TD Garden, where the Celtics held off the Washington Wizards to win, 133-129.

Thanks to the generous sponsorship of Local 103 IBEW and NECA Greater Boston, the Kids Corner initiative welcomed a group of enthusiastic kids from Eliot Community Human Services, Inc. to an action-packed evening and gave the youngsters an amazing experience by placing them at the heart of an exciting NBA game.

Local 103 and NECA recently became official partners of the Boston Celtics, teaming up to create unforgettable experiences for young people throughout Greater Boston through the Kids Corner initiative. The initiative aims to inspire and uplift young people by emphasizing the importance of teamwork and partnership.

Part of the evening included the kids getting to see themselves featured on the TD Garden jumbotron and several goodies from the Celtics.

“IBEW Local 103 is very excited about this new partnership. Our goal is to put a smile on these kids’ faces and give them an experience they won’t forget,” said Lou Antonellis, Business Manager of IBEW Local 103. “They had a great time and got to see the NBA’s best team in action.”
