John C. Sella of Everett died unexpectedly at his residence on Friday, January 29. He was 59 years old.
Born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, John worked as a truck driver.
He was the beloved son of Umberto and Angela (Arquilla) Sella of Everett; brother of Patric Sella of Boston and Robert Sella of Everett; loving uncle of Jacqueline, Toni, Kyle, Nikki, Paul, Phillip and Patrick Sella.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend John’s visiting hours in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner of Main Street) Everett on Thursday, February 4 from 5 to 8 p.m. His funeral will be held from the funeral home on Friday at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in the Immaculate Conception Church, 487 Broadway, Everett at 10 a.m. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in John’s memory to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005, would be sincerely appreciated.

Joseph Montalbano
Worked at New England Produce Center
Joseph Montalbano of Saugus, formerly of Everett, entered into rest on January 24, in the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He was 81 years old.
Born in Boston, Joe lived in Everett for most of his life before settling in Saugus with his wife and daughter. He was in retail, working at the New England Produce Center and was a US Air Force veteran.
He was the beloved husband of Margareta (Steinbauer) for over 57 years; devoted son of the late Rosaria “Sadie” (Bonavita) and Lorenzo Montalbano; dear and devoted father of Diane Montalbano of Saugus; brother of Lucille Luciano of Middleton and the late John “Dickie” Montalbano; loving “Opa” of Gilliane Melvin, Jennifer Mason, Cortney Johnson, Danielle Mason, Lorenzo Mason and Peter Mason and great “Opa” of Brodie Melvin, Willow Melvin, Emma Johnson, Ethan Johnson, Landyn Mason, Payton Stanford and Camden Mason. Joe is also survived by his devoted canine companion, Bear.
Funeral arrangements were by the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, Everett. Entombment with military honors was in the Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, Malden.
