Katy Leigh Rogers was one of 84 seniors who graduated from Montserrat College of Art during commencement on May 16 at the Dane Street Church in Beverly, MA.

Rogers is a resident of Everett, MA. She graduated with Dean’s Highest Honors and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with a concentration in Interdisciplinary and a minor in Art History. She is the daughter of Thomas and Patricia Rogers of Everett, MA. She is a 2010 graduate of Everett High School.

During commencement, keynote speaker and Emmy nominated animation director Bryan Konietzko, received an Honorary Doctor of Fine Arts degree along with former Beverly Mayor William F. Scanlon, Jr. The Class of 2014 selected Asst. Prof. Shanth S. Enjeti to serve as the faculty speaker at commencement and Merriweather McCarty was named student speaker. The ceremony was led my Montserrat’s Trustee Chair Lee Dellicker. Eight students received dean’s highest honors and 26 received dean’s honors.
