Mayor Carlo DeMaria recently joined the Everett Little League and its President Mike Vitukevich for the league’s annual hitting contest and banquet. The Mayor joined board members, coaches and family members in recognition of the teams’ and players’ great season. The celebration included a hitting contest, raffles, trophies and a cookout. The Mayor was especially proud to honor the Major League Championship team, The Marlins and the Minor League Championship team, The Rockhounds.
“The Everett Little League has been a highly respected organization within our City for a long time,” states Mayor DeMaria, “Little League is a world- wide organization that helps build character and morals within our youth. It is truly an important organization in our City.”
