The Everett Democratic City Committee will host a detailed presentation on the 2026 Massachusetts ballot questions on Thursday, October 15th at 7 pm in the Parlin Memorial Library public meeting room (ground floor level).
The overview will be given by Jonathan Cohn from Progressive Massachusetts, who will review all 9 ballot questions and present the pros and cons for each side. He will be available to answer any questions from the audience.
“Given there are so many ballot questions this year, it’s important for Everett voters to get an understanding of how they impact the community,” said Mark Puleo, Chair of the Everett Democratic City Committee. “You don’t know how many people were surprised by the number of questions when they received the voter guide in the mail. The red booklet can be helpful, but this forum will allow people to share their questions and get them answered in real time.”
The event is fully open to the public – Democrats, Republicans, Independents and non-voters alike. The City Committee has also invited representatives of some key ballot initiatives to speak after the main presentation.
