Alibis in the Aisles: A Literary Masquerade at the Parlin Memorial Library

All are invited to the annual Everett Public Libraries Literary Masquerade: Alibis in the Aisles! Join us at the Parlin Memorial Library on Saturday, October 24th, from 6-9pm. This is a free seasonal event with fun for all ages as we come together to solve a mystery in the library!

There is mischief amongst the shelves, but that won’t stop us from having a good time. Mingle with fellow gumshoes, look for clues, and solve the crime before the night ends! Come dressed as your favorite mystery character, as judges will be assessing your attire as you gather evidence. Those that are best-dressed will leave with accolades and a treat!

When asked about the upcoming event, Craig Diskin, the Technical Services Librarian, advised “It’s gonna be scoob-tastic!” As part of the planning committee for the event, they explained, “Last year was my first time working it, and I had a great time. This year, with an insight into the planning, I can tell you it’s going to be even better!”

The masquerade will include free refreshments for everyone, and entertainment for kids and adults alike! Nancy Drew will help our younger sleuths solve the mystery in the Children’s Department, while the older detectives follow clues to solve the case in the stacks upstairs.

The game’s afoot! We invite you to become part of the story…
