Seven priests – from as far away as Worcester – gathered for Father Vincent Machozi’s (in photo) Memorial Mass on Saturday, April 2, at Immaculate Conception Church. Machozi, who served at IC for several years while studying at Boston University, was assassinated in his Parish on Palm Sunday in the Congo allegedly by government soldiers. Hundreds of Parishioners and friends in Everett attended the service and have vowed to continue his work that challenged the hate and violence now transpiring in his home country of the Congo.
