Najah Ali
Her legacy is one of love, strength, faith and resilience

Najah Ali, 90, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2026, in Everett, Massachusetts. Born on June 6, 1935, in Amman, Jordan, Najah lived a life defined by love, faith, and resilience.

Najah was the beloved wife of the late Ali Ali and the devoted mother of Adele Mustafa and her late husband, Husein Mustafa of Tewksbury, Amele and her husband. John Ambrosino and Hannan Ali, all of Wakefield, Essam Ali and his late wife, Carol Ali of Everett, Bessam and his wife, Wendy Ali of Pearland, TX and Hisham Ali of Everett. She was the cherished grandmother of Ahmed Mustafa, Shareen Mustafa-Mejia and her husband, Mario; Melina Ambrosino, Brianna Marchant and her husband, Ryan; Ali Ali, Najah Hansen and her husband, Randy, John-Anthony Ambrosino and his wife, Delaney, Michael Hernandez, Laila Ali, Bijan Ali, Tariq Ali and the late Carolyn McClellan and Samer Mustafa. Najah was also a loving great-grandmother to eight: Natalee, Samerah, Nolan, Zarah, Leanah, Ella, Nathan and Jesse.

Known affectionately as “Tete,” Najah was the heart and foundation of her family. Her unconditional love and unwavering support nurtured generations. She carried herself with grace and quiet strength that inspired all who knew her. A devoted Muslim, Najah’s faith was central to her life. She was blessed to complete the sacred Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca—a deeply meaningful journey that reflected her profound devotion to her beliefs.

Najah immigrated to the United States with hope and determination for a better future. Together with her late husband Ali, she built a life rooted in hard work and perseverance. They proudly owned and operated Angelina’s Sub Shop in Everett, where Najah’s warmth made every customer feel like family. Through their dedication, they created opportunities for their children and grandchildren while becoming beloved members of their community.

Najah’s legacy is one of love, strength, faith, and resilience. The traditions she created and the lessons she imparted will continue to guide her family for generations to come. Her memory will forever remain a source of comfort and inspiration to those who knew her.

May Najah Ali rest in eternal peace. Her love will live on in the hearts of her family and all whose lives she touched.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to Boston Children’s Hospital in support of Ella’s Army, or to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute for Glioblastoma research in memory of Samer Mustafa.
